I think in a way it is nice to say that you have technology at your fingertips, as it does come in handy, but boy oh boy, so easily it can take over our lives.
These days, it is so much easier to grab a calculator than a piece of paper to make budget sums.
One word in your post stands out for me, and that is... "wisely"
We have to be wise when we use technology.
