SEC17/W5|Do you believe in reincarnation?
Reincarnation is the belief that once a person dies, he or she returns at birth again either as an animal, another human or as another being. Which means that death doesn't end a person's life but the person continues living.
If this is the case, then why do we have to cry when someone dies? why do the dependent relatives suffer when the person dies? why do we pray for life as humans? why do we run away from death or things that can harm us?
Well, the truth remains that those who are alive yearn to keep living because we are made that way. We are made to live forever but change came at some point in human history but that eternity that we were made with, still remains in us. It is a fantasy to think that we can be reborn after death. A fantasy and an illusion which never exists.
Since we are not the creator of life, we can't be able to explain what happens to us after death until we ask him who made all lives.
I used to believe that after death, the person continues living. It formed the basis for whatever I did then.
The reason for such belief then was due to a lot of stories that most people have resemblance with someone who has died. They say that they have the same mannerisms and as such, it is that person who has died that came back in form of that one who is still alive. But this doesn't hold water at all.
Not until I took time to study the holy book. Then I discovered the true condition of the dead. What is it? At this juncture, permit me to use the contest tips to explain if I believe in reincarnation or not. @kouba01 @irawandedi @yancar and @josepha, please take part in this contest
Do you believe there is a reincarnation? Justify your belief.
I DO NOT BELIEVE THERE IS A REINCARNATION
First, I believe in creation and I believe in what the creator of life said about humans. During creation, he created everything living thing including humans according to their kinds. Genesis 1:11,12,21,24 and 25 shows that everything was made in their likeness. If they were to reincarnate to another thing, then he could have not made them to be different.
Then, what is said at Genesis 6:20 when the great flood was about to sweep all living things away went further to prove that nothing comes back after death. The Almighty said in that portion that Noah should take in every living thing according to their kind so that they can be preserved alive. If there were reincarnation, the Almighty wouldn't have worried about preserving them since they will be reborn into anything and start living again.
When operation went south, that is, when the first human couple disobeyed their Creator, what he told them shows that they were not going to be reborn to start living again. First, he made man out of the dust of the earth and breathed the breath of life in them and they began living as humans at Genesis 2:7. Then when they disobeyed, he told them at Genesis 3:19 that they will return to the dust where they were taken from. The question is, where were they before they were born? Were they existing in another form of life, perhaps as animals or something else? Well, the words: ... return to dust, for dust you are and to dust you will return, shows that they weren't existing as something else. They just came into life when they were created and will return to a state of inexistence at death.
The condition of the dead and the hope of resurrection further give evidence that believe in REINCARNATION doesn't hold water. The Holy book at Ezekiel 18:4, the holy book made it clear that every living thing dies. And when they die, Ecclesiastics 9:5,6 and 10 shows that they know nothing at all. And even advised us to do whatever our hands finds to do while we are alive because we will remain lifeless in the grave where we are going when we die. This means that we can't help anyone, we can't harm anyone, we can't do anything, we can't even love or provide for anyone when we die.
But they, resurrection hope explains it all. Resurrection means coming back to life of those who had died. That's, coming back as the same person that died and not as another person. Just as a person who is asleep and unaware of his surroundings, the dead knowing. And just as a person who is asleep can be awakened from sleep to continue his activities, the dead can be awakened from death and continue living as they were before they died.
The one who created life from the dust of the earth is capable of giving back life to the person who had lost it and with the same features that can enable the relatives to recognise him or her instead of as another thing or another human.
Job, a faithful man of old said that he will wait in the grave until the Almighty calls him out, then he will come back to life. He said that at death, one is in a compulsory service. You will remain there in the grave, lifeless until your release comes in form of resurrection. Then he (The Almighty) will call and the dead will answer and come out (Job 14:14,15).
Then, an old prophet Elijah performed a resurrection when the son of a widow who had helped him with food died. He brought that boy back to life at 2 Kings 17:17 to 24. You can read that account and see how happy that woman was after the resurrection was performed. Nowy question is, if there were reincarnation, and the dead boy had been conceived to be given birth to by another human, or animal or tree or anything else, will it be possible for him to be brought back to life?
There are still many more points that made me to reject the belief in reincarnation but I believe the points I have made above is enough to defend my belief.
Do you believe we get back our relationships through reincarnation? Describe.
I haven't seen anyone who came who was born and then he recalled his life before. I haven't heard of any. The ones I see on movies are just illusions, fictions of things that never exists. If it were true, then it should be everywhere on earth that the living should be able to connect back to their people.
How can it even be possible when we carry our eulyes out when our lives ones die. We wished they are here with us. How can a loving father, who made us watch us grief in that way while he takes someone we hold dear to another family? On the contrary, he has promised to give us our dear loved ones back as humans that can connect with us again during the resurrection. We are waiting for that to happen and our loved ones are waiting in the grave to be brought back to life.
Believe in reincarnation simply means that in no way can we have our own back. If a person reincarnated as animal, that person is gone. Death is the opposite of life. We are happy when a person is born and we are saddened if the person dies. That is the reality of life.
Therefore, we do not get back out relationships through reincarnation
Do you like to be born just like what you are in this life;Or would you wish to adopt any other person's life if there is a reincarnation? Explain the reasons behind your choice.
The choice of where a person is to be born is not ours. We are born and we see ourselves in the families we belong. If we are to choose, then no human who is made higher than the animals will choose to be born as an animal. We are simply grateful when we appreciate where we are born into and we can make the best out of it.
Where we are born doesn't matter to me but how I choose to live my life is the main thing because that is what the Almighty is interested in.
Because I believe in the resurrection, which is the bringing back to life of those who have died with the same features, I will like to come back to life into the same family that I left. They love and cherish me and I will like to see them smile again at seeing me. I will also like to be happy at seeing them again.
There is no reincarnation to me and as such, there is no choice of reborn. I can't make such choice.
Conclusion
I do not believe in reincarnation incarnation
I do not wish to be reborn either as human, as animal, as tree, or as something else.
I simply wish to be resurrected as human and back to my family who will be able to recognise me and love me again the way they did prior to my death.
The few words I pointed out from the Holy scriptures shows that the belief in reincarnation does not hold water.
Thank you all for reading through. I will appreciate any questions on my points above because I will be willing to respond to them because I am very much sure of what I believe in and can defend it to the last.

I appreciate your comment and your stand on reincarnation
Without a doubt, your question has cleared my mind (thought) on the issue of reincarnation. If truly there is reincarnation we wouldn't have been crying at the death of someone since the person can reincarnate back. Well anytime I have thoughts, I usually reflect on so many things about this world that I have been hearing people saying.
I have heard about someone who was telling me about someone who reincarnated my question to the person was did you say die and reincarnate did he or she tell you that yes he or she was the person whom you knew before he died the first time and waiting to die the second time again. Well, so many things to talk about that I need to go into deep research before publishing my entry. Thanks for inviting me and success to you.
Stories abound about reincarnation. But all those stories are meant to shift us away from what the Almighty want us to believe in. So we need to remain focused and never be distracted. Thank you for your comment

Hola amiga
Usted dejo muy claro sus creencias basadas en la biblia de que NO existe una reencarnación, más bien la biblia habla claramente de una resurrección.
Exitos en la participación
I so much appreciated you dear sister
Wow Friend, you have explained in very depth. It made forced to think for some time. I personally feel that reincarnation comes in between due to presence of birth marks or gain of memories or dreams or calculated resemblance. Through Aakashik Reading you can get full knowledge about the past lives and some secrets of your destiny. It is quite popular in our Country.
These things quite deviate the topic and leads to different possibilities.
Thank you ❤
Birthmarks can be due to some genetics or complications during birth. In any case, those marks don't suggest any reincarnation. Because I have seen a child that is born with aark like that which a relative that is still living has. Meanwhile, I appreciate your comment. It means a lot
