In Islam, heaven, or "Jannah," is described as a place of eternal happiness and peace for those who have lived according to Islamic teachings. Conversely, hell, or "Jahannam," is a place of punishment for those who have strayed from the path of righteousness. The idea of karma, which suggests that our actions determine our future, is similar to the Islamic concept that good deeds lead to good outcomes and bad deeds lead to negative consequences. Both emphasize the importance of ethical behavior, although Islam teaches that ultimately, Allah's plan is what truly controls our fate.
