Steem engagement challenge-s7/w5|My way to stay balanced during the time of stress.
Assalamualaikum all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you are all well. I'm fine too. I am Mohammad Kamran Hossain. Today I am again going to participate in the new Engagement Challenge of Season 7 week 5 in "Incredible India" community. Today's Engagement Challenge is all about "stress". I would like to thank the "Incredible India" community for organizing such a wonderful Engagement Challenge on the topic of "Stress". However, I am now presenting to you the main topic of today's Engagement Challenge.
There are some steps I take to maintain balance during times of stress that I find quite effective.Wilson recommends activities to reduce stress, including exercise. Simple activities such as walking, eating healthy food, getting enough good sleep, interacting with friends and family, spending time on hobbies that bring joy play a positive role.These are the things I try to follow. Because there is a proverb that is very common in the society that is "healthy body beautiful mind" I think it is correct. Because when my body is healthy I don't feel as much stress which is a good thing. And then comes eating healthy which I think is the key to staying healthy. Also, getting enough sleep, keeping in touch with friends and family, and maintaining stress balance. Spending time on hobbies also helps balance stress. When I'm feeling stressed, keeping these things in mind helps me feel better.
Basically, there are many causes of mental stress, among them the three causes of mental stress are;
- Long term physical diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis etc.
- Emotional problems like depression, bereavement, guilt, lack of confidence etc.
- Tension in close relationships, lack of friends, lack of people to support.
There are also many other reasons and they are: such as experiencing frequent fatigue, abdominal pain, chest pain etc. Also some of the symptoms include repeated negative thoughts, low mood etc. Being away from family, friends and loved ones, trouble sleeping or oversleeping, memory loss, trouble concentrating, etc. are all signs of stress, says Wilson.
I definitely think we should all take stress seriously. Because it is long lasting
Stress causes symptoms like moodiness, depression, sudden anger. Physically, problems like muscle weakness, fatigue, headache or insomnia can be seen and stress can affect different parts of the body. Its effects can be severe, especially on the heart and circulatory system and stress can affect different parts of the body. Its effects on the heart and circulatory system in particular can be severe. In 2021, an experiment was conducted on 900 people to find out how the human heart and cardiac blood flow are affected by physical and mental stress. Studies have shown that excessive stress has a detrimental effect on the health and function of the heart. A previous study of more than 24,000 patients from 52 countries found the same picture. According to this study, the risk of suffering from heart disease is almost doubled in five years. So we should look at the mental pressure seriously by focusing on these issues.
According to experts, the part of the brain that generates the stress response is called the amygdala and the amygdala is also known as the 'fear center' of the brain. When someone feels anxious, the amygdala is activated and stimulates the body to produce stress hormones. This can result in decreased blood flow to the heart. This event helps to save lives in times of sudden danger. But if the level of this type of hormone is high in the body for a long time, things like inflammation of blood vessels, obesity, obstruction of the way of insulin can happen. All these can lead to heart disease. So for heart protection, reducing stress as much as possible is better.
