Sometimes in life, there comes a situation where we feel stuck, we don’t know what will happen next or what we should do now. We are bound by certain things or feelings that never let us accept reality and move on from that situation. We keep on holding it, with the hope that, maybe things will turn around and everything will be good again. This optimistic approach doesn’t work everywhere and I think, we need to accept the fact and let go of things that are not letting us move forward in life.

Letting go will hurt us for a while, but holding on will hurt us lifetime. Many reasons we can’t let go of things or people is because of fear. Fear of the pain we have to go through after letting go, fear of losing all the memories and attachment with those things or people. The fear is bigger than anything, and it is killing us day by day without us even realizing it.

So, it’s better to let go of things or people before it gets tough for you. This becomes easy only when we realize and accept that certain things are better to let go for you and others (Where it relates to people). The more we hold on to that thing or people, the more we are hurting ourselves and others. And, even it will cause much more pain than letting go in the initial stage.

And, once you decide to let go of that thing or people, don’t turn back. Because turning back will make you emotionally weak and can change your decision. And, that decision will hurt you hard one day, and that will make you take an aggressive step and leave those things or people completely. But, this is the worst stage as you and the other person both will hurt badly, and there will be guilt in your heart for your whole life.
