Biological Clock

Sometimes, I feel that, are we even living a human life. Or, we are just a product of the society named human beings? Just like one product undergoes many processes before reaching the desired customers. We humans go through many stages before reaching the deathbed.

The product comes with manufacturing and expiry dates, and we humans come with birth dates, death dates, and the biological clock, which decides what you have to do, and when you have to do. Like, by the age of 18, you should have completed your schooling and by the age of 23-25, your education must be complete and you should get a good job. And, by the age of 30, you should get married and start a family. No matter what are your passions or hobbies, you should be well settled by a certain age according to the “so-called society”.

And, if you are not settled by that time frame, people will question your abilities, capabilities, and even your intelligence. I wonder how people can judge someone just based on their age, ignoring every good thing they own or have done till date. For example: If you are not settled till 30, people will start thinking that you are not responsible or you are into certain kinds of bad habits that are not letting you move forward in your life.

And, things get worse when you are 30, and not married. Feels like a criminal roaming around on a hunt, according to society..haha. Forget about your mental health, happiness, your dreams even your personal growth or nature, people don't care about anything. If you are not married, means you are lacking something. If you are married and not happy, that’s fine. But, we are happy and unmarried, that’s a big issue in the society. People will not ask why are you single they will ask, why are you unmarried. Both are different if you look deeply.
