SEC17/W1/Heaven and Hell fantasy or reality?

in Incredible India5 months ago

My beliefs in heaven and hell are justified and rooted in Biblical scriptures, teachings and interpretations that focus on the existence of life after death and the idea of divine justice, salvation and damnation. The views about hell in particular include very different conceptions of divine love, justice and grace and very different ideas about free will and it's role in determining a person's ultimate destiny, very different understandings of moral evil and the purpose of punishment, and very different views about the nature of moral responsibility and the possibility of inherited guilt.

Question 1 : Do you believe there is a place named heaven and hell out of this world? Justify your belief.

What is heaven? The Hebrew word for heaven is "Shamayin" which means the dwelling place of God and other heavenly beings. In Greek, heaven is translated as "ouranos" which refers to that which is raised up.

The dictionary meaning of heaven is a state or place of complete happiness or perfect rest, attained by the good after death. In other words, heaven is a state of utter and absolute fulfillment.

Hell: Hell is a place where God judges unrepentant sinners with eternal conscious punishment. Conscious in the sense that people in hell are not asleep, instead they are awake and aware of their experience.

I believe that heaven and hell are real not a fantasy. Heaven and hell are a deserved compensations for the kind of earthly lives we live. Good people go to heaven as a deserved reward for a virtuous life lives, and bad and wicked people go to hell as a just punishment for an immoral life, in that way, justice is said to be served.

In the book of Revelation chapter 20 vs 11 and 12, It says " Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence and were seen no more. And I saw the dead, the great and the small alike; standing before the throne. Books were opened, and then another books were opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works, according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.

As a Christian, I know that either eternal torment in hell or eternal joy in heaven awaits all people after death, based on whether they trust in Christ's payment for sin or reject Christ. Sin results in the loss of charity and the privation of sanctifying grace, that is the state of grace. If it is not redeemed by repentance and God's forgiveness, it causes exclusion from Christ's kingdom which is heaven and the eternal death of Hell, for our freedom has the power to make choices forever.

Question 2: Do you believe karma decides our future, and we get results according to the same?

On the other hand , Karma is a word that means action. It refers to both the actions and the consequences of the actions. It determines the experiences a person has in life. Karma has nothing to do with fate. If one do something bad, It doesn't mean that something negative or bad has to happen to one to even it out. karma is a dynamic force. it is the energy we create from our actions and from our thoughts. It's our intentional thoughts and actions. The energy one generate now and in the future will affect one. It has nothing to do with reward or punishment.

I don't believe that karma decides one's future, for Karma is neither fate nor divine decree imposed upon us by some mysterious unknown power to which we must helplessly submit ourselves. Though Karma to an extent is influenced by external circumstances, surroundings, personality, individual striving and so forth.

To some people karma serves as a deterrent, while to others, it serves as an incentive to do good. For instance, when one see wicked, dishonest and cruel people living a life of affluence and in certain positions of power while the honest and kind people faces hardship, oppressions and tribulations. It may be hard for such people to believe in karma. Karma can affect how one lead one's life- either with fear of consequences or with anticipation of future rewards. However, good deeds lead to a good outcome.

Question 3: Do you believe immortality and chasteness are some factors that affect our lifestyle? Describe.

Immortality is the indefinite continuation of a person's existence, even after death. It is defined as eternal life or exemption from death. Christians belief is that spirits never die only our bodies and souls go to the grave and will be raised in God own order. Chastity on the other hand is a virtue that moderates the desire for sexual pleasure according to the principles of faith and right reason. The first principles of morality is the pure man is enabled to penetrate far deeper into the mysteries of all that is good than the man who is not pure and clean. A chaste man will not have to suffer for knowing he has brought on another pain, agony, anguish, diseases to another.

I belief that life after death can have a profound effect on our attitudes towards life. Cultural and religious coalition can directly influence most individual's beliefs about life after death. One who believes in immortality ( life after death ) and purity will focus on his or her spiritual growth, develop a notable relationship, maintain virtues worthy to emulate which will bring a positive impact and fulfillment to him/her and to the society.

In conclusion, Hell is a just punishment for sins. It is not an unearned sentence but a lawful condemnation of sinners who deserve the penalty they receive. Heaven is the dwelling place of God and his angels, and the Spirit of the righteous after death. it is a place of state of existence of the blessed after the mortal life. A belief in an afterlife should be an important part of the Christian traditions. Even if our lives do extend beyond the grave, however, the question remains concerning the nature of the future in store for us on the other side. Heaven, hell, and Karma are essentially deserved compensations for the kind of earthly lives we live. Both the belief in heaven, hell, karma, immortality and chasteness greatly shape our choices, lifestyles, relationships and the in quest of purpose, motives, principles and attainment in life.
