Human-Made Causes: Human beings are the major reason for environmental pollution because it's through human beings that industrial activities can take place.

• It is through human beings that one can see waste materials, deforestation, agricultural activities, transportation, and many others that cause environmental pollution.

However, below are the other reasons behind environmental pollution:

• Forest Fire: Fire brings a large amount of smoke to our environment, which isn't good for human health.

• Dust Storm: This causes air pollution by bringing dust and dirt particles into our environment.

How can we prevent environmental pollution?

There are different ways and strategies that we can use to prevent environmental pollution, depending on the type of pollution. Some of the ways are:

• We can prevent environmental pollution by using fuel-efficient vehicles or machinery for industrial use.

• We can also prevent environmental pollution by replacing old machinery, generators, etc. that cause smoke.

• We can also prevent environmental pollution by using energy-efficient appliances.

• We can prevent environmental pollution by avoiding burning bushes, leaves, etc. in our environment.

Environmental Pollution impacts all living creatures, including humans. In the case of humans, environmental Pollution like air pollution causes them to have heart diseases, coughing, wheezing, and a lot more.

Also, environmental pollution causes living creatures to have skin problems, and we get to suffer from noise and airborne diseases from air pollution.

Yes, I have taken part in keeping my environment clean. During my days in Youth service, I was part of the environmental sanitization team, where we kept the environment where myself and other Corpers were staying clean, as you can see from the images above.

As a human being, taking good care of yourself is as good as keeping your environment healthy and getting rid of any dirt, just as you get rid of dirt by taking your bath.
