How do you define maturity? |

Maturity can actually be defined as state of been mature, advance in age, full grown-up, fully grown, ripe, fully developed etc.
In the aspect of human life, anyone can act maturely even when he or she is not fully grown, acting maturely in human life is when responding to something at the right time with the right response, giving out good results in a giving situation, thinking maturely as human, not thinking as a child, finding solution to some giving equation where a mature minded person can do.

Maturity is not depending on the age interval of a man, a young boy can think and act matured while a grown up man acting like a child. A man can learn from a younger person who is more mature in a particular field than him. Maturity can depend on a particular field, where someone is been nurtured about that field in life.
A person can grow to the state of maturity by learning from advance and professional people, when a man fails to learn he or will remain novice and immature, while the ones who are ready to learn will always grow to the state of maturity.
So, the act of learning is in a man's hand, a younger person can decide to learn while the grown up feels they know all, and they will continually remains in the state of immaturity, while the young ones grow in maturity.

Experience can come with age and can also come with circumstance.
But mostly experience do come from circumstances like, learning, traveling and lot more. A person who is not ready to learn and feels too big always become novice of many things despite the age. For a person to get more experience in life isn't from age alone but from circumstances which will impact meaningfully in ones life.
There are many old people who doesn't know about steemit but advance in age, they will never have any experience with steemit only if they get in touch with steemit while younger person who know about steemit can have more experience in steemit platform rather the advance person. This is a good example of how circumstances contribute more on experience rather than age.
Anyone who feels so big and advance to learn from others will not be more open to experiences. A person who travels alot can also experience alot, people who learn more will always experience more, people who interaction more with people experience more from people, despite the age, it is the circumstances that determine.

Mang older people even prefer learning from younger people, because younger people in this generation get more information and experiences mostly in social media days. And it is 100% sure for an older people to learn from the youth with my own believe and experience.
There are many older people who think they know alot than the youth or younger people, thinking they have experience alot during their life time, while this is absolutely wrong, surely they may have experience alot of things, but should still know they haven't know all things, they haven't experienced everything, which the youth might have experience that can also change the mind of the older person.
The older people can also learn from the youth and can even expand the lesson or experience with their advance knowledge. A person who don't feel so big to learn is always wise. There is this saying learning never ends, not respecting age, or who you are, studying to show oneself approved, not to be ashamed of one's work or experience.

Maturity is gotten from the act of learning, traveling, intaraction, moving with experienced people, etc. Those who aren't ready to learn always remains immature and they doesn't grow mature. Maturity lies in a man's hand, anyone can grow mature in any field by determinations, consistency, humility, etc.

You have explained maturity very well. In your opinion, maturity is doing the right things at the right time. It is not necessary that a person becomes mature only when he grows up.
Circumstances indeed plays a crucial role with it comes to experience in life. We go to and fro travelling to different places for different occasions. During this tour, we see and meet different people, nature and places. With the new environment, we can learn and experience so many things. They're some places you travel to and meet people with a bad economy, you may get life experiences on that. You have a detailed post here dear.
