The grand Festival in my Country
What is grand festival in my country,How do you celebrate that festival
The month of October in India is filled with many festivals and holidays. Some of the major festivals celebrated during this time are Navratri, Dussehra, and the grand festival is Diwali. Diwali is one of the most popular Indians festivals of Hindus which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and delight. Diwali, also called as Deepavali, deepa means lamps, festival of lights and candles. It is celebrated in almost all parts of India, it is only festival celebrated by indians with full enthusiasm, where almost the rituals are almost same. In the diwali, People worship God Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi to get wealth and prosperity in their life.. It is an festival that marks the victory of good over bad.vThe festival symbolises joy, harmony, and victory. It is great time for family members to come together and celebrate the diwali, in this festivals we decorate our house with lights and light-up the lamps with mustard oil in the evening time. Draw the rangoli in front of our house temple. It gets more exciting at night because lots of sky-lanterns we see in the sky, after worship everybody bursting crackers at terrace or outside our houses, we eat yummy dinner with sweets. I would like share the story behind why we celebrate Festival of lights Diwali.
According to the Ramayana, Diwali is the day of the return of Lord Ram from vanvaas(forest )after 16 years. This day Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya along with his wife Sita. This return was made after Rama defeated demon King Ravana. To remarks the happiness and joy, every house of Ayodhya lighten up with diyas, every house was decorated with lights
Would you love to go on a vacation during this festive period, or would you love to stay in your country and celebrate the festival with your family? Give the reason behind your choice.
No and Never especially on Diwali festival, In India diwali is the main festival, where people come to their house to celebrate festivals with family and friends, I would always celebrate diwali at home with family, as we worship lord Ganesha and goddess Laxmi for wealth and prosperity at our home, in our offices, shops. we takes lots of photographs, my cousins working outside of home town, come to house just to celebrate diwali with family and friends.
Rangoli made by me and my sisters, it is a popular Indian art form in which a drawing pattern is made on the floor, commonly outside house temple especially in Diwali Puja. A photograph with rangoli is always mandatory 😜
Share with us if you have any memorable moments related to the festival.
Every diwali we have great memories, every member of our family who are working out, come to home to celebrate the diwali, do all the rituals of Puja. In 2020 during COVID time, my cousin brother is IT engineer in Bangalore, said i won't be able to come in diwali due to some office work, everybody was sad that first time we will celebrate diwali without him, but don't have any option unless to accept the truth. But on the day of diwali, every body busy in their work preparing for Diwali, my cousin brother gave everybody suprise by coming to home. I can't express in words that feelings that moment i will cherished forever, that diwali was the best diwali for my life.
