Hello happy steemit friends, how are you all? Again I took part in the Steemit Engagement Challenge S7/W3 contest with the theme Share your last family holiday experience and pictures in the Incredible India community

Why did you choose to visit that place?

During the holidays to welcome the end of semester break at school a few days ago, my beloved family and I took advantage of this by visiting family in Banda Aceh. It also happens that the school semester break this time coincides with the end of the year. It's been quite a long time since we took a vacation because of the demands of work in the office which are quite hectic and can't be left behind. Besides, our son, Raffa, is still too small to be carried far away. So we take advantage of this year's holiday opportunity to just take a walk while staying in touch with relatives. We deliberately chose Banda Aceh City because this city is the seat of government for the Province of Aceh. In the city of Banda Aceh, there are also many choices for sightseeing, both beach tourism, culinary tourism, and religious tourism.

Share the experiences you gathered while visiting the place

One of our tourist destinations while in the city of Banda Aceh is the religious tour of the Baiturrahman Great Mosque. This mosque, which is the pride of the people of Aceh, is known throughout Aceh, nationally and even internationally. The Baiturrahman Mosque is a favorite place not only for local people but also for people from outside Aceh who happen to visit Aceh. Every time we visit Banda Aceh, whether for carrying out assignments or on vacation, I always visit this mosque and it has become a mandatory place to stop by. Apart from being a place for worship, the courtyard of the mosque which looks beautiful like the courtyard of the Prophet's Mosque is a favorite place to take pictures.

Do you have any noteworthy incidents or moments you faced while traveling to that place?

Before leaving for the city of Banda Aceh, we first visited our family and stayed at our brother's house in the Sigli area. The next morning we just continued our journey to the final destination city which is about 100 km away. Our trip at that time was in the middle of a fairly heavy rain so that I had to be extra careful when driving a car. The roads were also packed with vehicles because everyone wanted to go to Banda Aceh City for a vacation with their families. Before arriving in Banda Aceh City, we stopped at Samahani Kupi to enjoy coffee and Samahani specialty bread. Then continue the journey back up to an hour later arriving at our destination. After that we just visited several places that are tourist destinations in the capital city of the province of Aceh.

Which thing did you enjoy the most in that place?

Arriving in Banda Aceh, of course there are many special things that we can enjoy. Apart from enjoying the beautiful scenery in the courtyard of the Baiturrahman mosque, we also enjoy various culinary delights here. We also enjoy shopping for various needs, especially those for dek Raffa decking.

Would you like to visit that place again with your family?

In the future, of course, we will come back to the city of Banda Aceh when the holidays come. We will enjoy going back to various places in the capital city of Aceh for fun. Hopefully the condition and health will be fine later so that you can return to enjoy a fun holiday with your beloved family.
