SEC17/W3|Experiences come with age or circumstances!
Greetings friends,in a world where circumstances tries to overwhelm everybody, people now learn what they ought to have learnt with time and age. The topic before us is an interesting one where I will be discussing about the best way we can gain experience either by age or circumstances. Stay with me while I digest my points.
How do you define Maturity?
Most times people mistake maturity to when a person is fully grown up, forgetting that a person might be fully grown but does not have maturity in him or her. When I say maturity, Such as willingness to accept responsibility or to maintain a poise in serious situations.
In my opinion, I would say that maturity is that stage in life whereby the behavior or manner that is expected of an adult is been exhibited,in other way around,it can still be defined as the period of time in ones life after your physical growth has stopped and you are fully developed.
Many people out there are just grown ups without maturity in them. That's why you will see a child behaving like an adult while an adult behaves like a kid.
What do you believe experience come with age or circumstances? Define
Before proceeding with my point on this,I will start with a parable in my language. It says"ihe agadi nwoke dukwuala hu,nwatakiri nyigoro ulo elu,ogayii ihuya" which translates to mean that what an elderly person See's while sitting down, even if a child climbs to the highest mountain,he can never see it.
This was the philosophy I had about elderly people while growing up,I saw them as people with so much experience and wisdom. But as I grew older,it dawned on me that not all elderly people are experienced.
One thing I would love to point out is that,I am a firm believer that experience matters alot. It's just like you have spent more time on something and have been through more more battles in that field, believe me, what you say would definitely have more credibility than others no matter how old you are.
However, just that a person is older does not mean he/she is more experienced in everything. Yes you should always pay your respect to elders because they have seniority over you but when it comes down to work and creating value, there are things you may do better than them based on the circumstances surrounding you.
experience is actually based on time spent in a field ,not how many years you have been in it or how old you are and as such, experience works with age and circumstances,in that circumstances sharpens your mind while age gives you the wisdom to understand most things.
Do you believe older people can also learn so many things from youths? Justify.
Yes,older people can learn from the youths. Life never stops teaching us and learning never ends. As an eldee, there are certain things you didn't learn during your days and those things are very crucial this present day, you won't just fold your alms and watch, rather you will seek for help even if is from the younger generation.
Firstly,it is believed that older people have more life experience and therefore ,are more knowledgeable than young people. To me, this notion is flawed because young people also have knowledge and skills that older people do not poses. For instance, young people are are more tech-saavvy than older people and can teach them how to use modern gadgets such as smart phones and computers.
In conclusion, young people have knowledge and skills that older people do not poses,and they can use their enthusiasm and energy to inspire older people to embrace new ideas and try new things

Experience is not solely determined by the number of years spent in a field or one's age. It is a combination of time, age, and circumstances. Older individuals can learn valuable lessons from the youth, as learning is a continuous process. While older people may have more life experience, young individuals possess knowledge and skills that can be beneficial. Embracing new ideas and being open to learning from others can benefit individuals of all ages. Good luck my bro
