How do I glance towards the word disability?
Whenever anyone looks at the word disability, then he or she might know that it's the absence of ability. This word is used to describe different events and personalities. In a sense, it can be used to describe a broken situation but it's mostly used to describe humans and animals. For instance, if a person is deficient in proper eyesight, then someone can say the person is disabled. These disabilities don't only entail the eyesight problem but literally every part of the body. That's why the disabled community includes people with issues with any part of their body.
Which disability is more challenging?
Physical disability is a hard nut to crack, so I'll choose it. For me, I see limb loss or paralysis as one of the challenging disability. This is because most of your dependence might be on a wheelchair and will have little chance of getting back to your feets. Honestly, I do feel so much pity to the lame because I can't imagine how someone will be stuck to a seat for ages and wouldn't be able to move. At times, it might be depressing for the person involved. In a situation where the wheelchair isn't automated like the current one,he or she will need someone to push the chair for movement. If the person is busy at the moment, then the person might be stuck at that position. Despite this, I still see all disabilities to be challenging in its ways.
Ways to encourage people living with disabilities
There are several ways known to encourage a person through any kind of disability. Let me mention them below.
- Helping them in any way possible: We can help them with their chores and daily activities. Imagine a blind man trying to cross the road, we need to help him to cross safely to the next lane. With this, the heart of such a person will be warmed up. It will be such a great favour you've done to him.
- Words of encouragement might help any person living with disability. At times, you might think it's not worth it but surprisingly it is worth it.
- Helping them in terms of aids and physical needs are also an essential part of encouragement for them.
