Hi everyone, A special thanks to to @incredibleindia for picking out such a topic as weekly challenge topic. It's been an awesome weekend and am happy to be back and this community.

Before I delve properly into this content, it'd be pertinent I reintroduce myself as a Nigerian. Now regardless of country of birth or residence, if you are conversant with global news you might have noticed the recent insecurity thereby leading to record breaking loss of lives of vibrant youths most especially in my country.

As sad as I may feel writing on this, the preceding era that succeeded the insecure era is where I would love to travel to with the time machine if given the opportunity. Down into the question:

Which era would you love to visit with the time machine and why?

In answering this question, I'd like to say that as a little child, my country happens to be one of the coolest place I know and love to be. Everything about Abroad particularly London happens to be the stories I love to hear and tell. During this era both town and village happens to be lively and we often hear of people travelling abroad just to acquire a degree in a certain course after which they will come back to their loved ones.

The reason why wouldn't like to stay awake and out at night would be because it's getting darker and not because it wasn't safe any longer. During the festive season, people travelling far and near just to bond with their loved ones and merry together. I would love to visit this era again and again because the present era we are in have brought so much meaning into the word Tranquility so much so I have a handful of experience and content to write about the reverse. Security made a lot of sense even though it seems unrealizable at the moment.

At the moment, the fear of travelling to another location where you barely know is on the rise for the fear of the unknown as well as not been too sure of where you are standing. If it's not killing today, it's kidnapping tomorrow with a request of an outrageous ransom to be paid.
This era I would love to travel to now made a lot of sense because recently in my country, a lot of families have no idea of what getting together means and whole idea of festive season has fade away while a lot has lost their Loved as a result of the so called Insecurity (if not what better word would describe all these).

I would also love to travel to that era because in that era, transacting with Kobo as a legal tender came with so much ease.

This was an era where you have little cash at hand and end up spending much. Compared to the time we live in. Naira has lost its value drastically and to even think of the fact that what the average Nigeria can afford in the market right now may be so insignificant is horrible.

Days when we trade in coins and having no future to worry about as things were apparently falling in place for both tom and Jerry were the best if days that I would love to travel with time machine because such era made life so meaningful.

Who would you love to visit this era with and why?

I would love to travel this era with Young Nigerians within whom the need to make a change has been awoken and this isn't limited to some the steemians like @jueco, @simonnwigwe, @fredquantum, @beewrites, @justice009 and the main reason why I did is because if given the opportunity to make things right, these individuals have the capacity to right a lot of wrong thereby making an upright Nigeria out of my country and all.

I would not just pick any random person too to visit this era with me so the top on list I would consider before travelling this era with anyone would be someone that has a heart for others. Which is what our country needs right now because it is only when you have a heart for other both the current generation and the ones that would come that you have a list of things to put in to consideration before taking an action out of your decision.

If I would go ahead to random person's the resultant effect would be where we are today. We need more of game changers to travel to those era than observers.

If you get the chance to compile one thing from that era, what would you like to bring with you?

Good Governance
This would sure be the one thing I would catapult from that era into this era.
Why did I say so?
Good Governance happens to be the bedrock on which every other good thing in a country is birthed.
A country with good Governance but having an unbroken record of insecurity will do everything possible to put reasonable measures in place to have such menace eliminated at all cost.

With good Governance, it takes nothing to even emerge a better era than the one we all admire.
Our country can offer us more than we travel to get.

Conclusively, everyone of us both in Nigeria and else where would have something we so desire to have back so as to add more meaning to our lives and in one way or the other, I pray it's been replenished in a more better way so we can have the comfort we always prayed.

I'd like to invite @beewrites, @justice2550, @jueco to participate in this wonderful topic and as well give us their opinion on this.
