Hello paddies, this is a great and wonderful topic to deliberate on and make contributions to actually some the of concerns we presently have regarding marriages. Just as the introduction of this post stated, there are higher separation indices showing more people leaving marriages or separating from their partners.
I will be making my contributions known as we all have our individual opinions to submit on this topic.
I am from the Christian faith and the holy bible spoke clearly on the issue of marriages and also between that of a man and woman. Therefore, this should only occur between a man and a woman, and as well it is made in heaven. And haven is always interested in this union.
It further stated that he that finds a wife has found a good thing and hence shall receive the blessings thereof. God's concept of marriage, was designed for both couples to receive His heavenly blessings each time it is consummated.
It is one of God's ideal purposes to man and hence that was why he's interested in this man's affairs. Let us also look at the creation of the first man and woman. The first man was created and when the creator saw that the man was alone and needed a companion, He made him a helpmeet. This is a bible story that shows the contest narration that marriages are made in heaven.
I believe that marriage is a union between two people and there should be a courtship or relationship which shows that the people are expressing love. Therefore, marriage should be love-driven other than arranged. There are more successes recorded from marriages instituted from the foundation of love other than third-party institutions.
Arranged marriages are supposedly artificial in their build-up as this either collapses untimely or the cojoined individuals find it difficult to live in harmony. I believe that marriages built on love are long-lasting and tolerant in all spheres. Just as we know, love is the bonding factor that brings about long-lasting relations and affairs between two people.
A happy married life is simply a situation where the institution of marriage is upheld. A time where peace, love, and harmony exist. A time when tolerance and obedience are at their peak. It does not necessarily mean the abundance of comfort or wealth but rather those are only additions to what love, peace, harmony, tolerance, and obedience double upon.
In such a place where everyone is happy, there is growth that is sacrosanct. There is longevity which removes untimely deaths of resources and lives. Happy married life brings about prosperity for everyone and containment of all parties.
A happy married life is a home or union where both couples seemingly live happily though acknowledging their differences. The ability to acknowledge these differences makes it more suitable for peaceful coexistence and hence a happy married life.
I have narrated some of the high points of maintaining a healthy and happy married life. Deviation from some of these points brings about instability in marriages. Mental distances and separations are rooted in the inability of the couples to coexist.
Intolerance is one of the driving factors toward separation and metal distance. When either or both couples cannot control or accept the excess or behaviors of each other, it basically leads to separation.
Loss of interest is also another dividing factor. This may be a result of unions founded on the arrangement, lack of courtship, and the ability of couples to invest in themselves.
Lack of affection may also be another strong force of this. Lack of love should be the founding grounds for marriage union. Many are seen to enter into unions of this nature with objective major financial driven. When this isn't coming as expected, the end becomes near.
In conclusion, we need to be intentional about this godly union called married. It is an ordained union from God and hence we should be able to respect it and preserve it. Remember, whoever finds a wife, finds a good thing and will definitely attract the blessing therein.
