Hello steemians, hope we all had a great day? Today I will be writing about the significance of education, the role it plays in individuals life and the society at large.

Education I'd say is a process where a person is imparted knowledge, skills and also judgement. it is the idea that we have learned, particularly through formal instructions.

Education is important to every citizen of a country. When one is educated such person has higher chances of being exposed to new ideas, technology and knowledge. Being a learned person has an impact it does like in the sociological phrase, psychologically, physically and mentally.

Education are being classified into the following steps and process;

1. The early education which ranges from 0_8 years of age.
2. The primary education which starts from the age of 5 _ 11 years .
3. The secondary education starting from age 11_ 18.
4. And the Higher education ranging from age 18 _ above.

With all of this classifications, I also have known that there are also types of education, like the informal education which is the traditional schooling when a child is been taught at home how to sweep, greet, wash the dishes at home and do some of the chores .
And there is the formal education, which is self-directed learning. A child has to go to school,to learn how to write and speak english language and the likes. And the non_ formal education which is community based learning and also the rest.

Yes of course, I do believe that there is, like the family education which is intergenerational learning, including parenting and family dynamic.
There is also peer to peer learning, which involves peer monitoring, social networks and collaborations.
Likewise the experimental education consisting of hand experiences , e.g internships, apprenticeship, and real world applications. Now there is social directed learning, this is an education which one can go for an online courses, self motivation and independence.

All of these education has a lot and equally gives benefits just like institutional education.

For me I would say that both institutional education and non institutional plays an important role in individuals life and it also carries a good number of value in both. You see, in the institutional education there are lots of opportunities for the students, structured learning, formal credentials and the rest of it all. But in the non institutional education, there are things called practical skills with combine experience. There are personal growth and self awareness with adaptability and resilience.

Both the two educations are great, so for one to have a valued life and respectful image or so, I could say one ought to atleast have an experience on both the two because it indeed gives a balance of knowledge .
