Today I am writing about an interesting which is all time my favourite topic "Share your understanding about downvotes." So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

In simple words, we understand downvotes in such a way that if a person does some work and gets punishment instead of reward for that work, then it is called downvotes. We will say this in more simple words that downvotes means "to break the courage of a person" when a person works with all his hard work and he is given downvotes for that, then somewhere that person's courage breaks.

We all work on platforms like Steemit, write blogs. It is the effort of all of us that we encourage each other and motivate them to do more good work. We ourselves can learn something by watching other people's work.

Downvotes affect our accounts a lot, because if our account has a high number of downvotes, no Steemians will upvotes. And the votes of the curators will not come on it, nor will you get booming votes and the biggest thing will be your reputation. It is possible that the tag of abuse watcher will be attached to your name.

So to avoid downvotes write your original content and follow all steemit rules. So that you get positive votes and give your best contribution in the comments. Give 100% of your hard work on your work.

Ofcourse yes , downvotes can help deter plagiarism, abuse, and spamming. Because when a person will not get support due to downvotes then he will be disappointed and he will understand where he has made mistake. And he will try to write his original content. Would not mind stealing content from here and there.

Due to downvotes people understand their mistake. When it comes to respect of a person, then there is a deep impact on the mentality of the person. The person continues to exert control to reduce or eliminate the pointing fingers or downvotes with all their might. Due to which one day he definitely achieves success.

We should refrain from downvoting anyone because Steemit is a platform where we learn from each other and also help people. If we downvote, people will get frustrated and they will not be able to work. That's why their enthusiasm should always be increased by upvoting. I say instead of downvoting we should help newcomers or anyone so that they can do good work in future.
