Incredible India monthly contest August || My understanding about downvotes.
Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. I hope that you will be doing well. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm going to participate in this amazing contest in the Incredible India community. The topic of this contest is "My understanding about downvotes." So let's start without any more delay of time.
As we know the Steemit is a decentralized social media platform and like other social media platform when we found any abusive content we dislike it in order to show our hate about that content and to stop them using that type of contents in future. On Steemit the downvotes mean negative votes which we cast on the Posts of bid-bots users, spammers and the one a low quality post.
The downvotes plays a vital role in maintaining the fairness and justice on that wonderful platform. This is because the Steem team support only quality contents and they don't support any content which is written from any external source or plagiarized. So by downvotes we can stop such kind a users and can minimize the spammers on that platform.
Yes the downvotes affect our accounts very badly. First of all when we get any down vote on our post it reduce the reward that we get on that post and it can also be muted due to low rating. The downvotes also affects our the reputation of our accounts. When we get any down vote it decrease our reputation and also decrease the trust of Steemit users and the Steem team on us.
The downvotes also affects the reach of our contests and our posts can be set down from trending. One of the major affect of down votes on our accounts is that if a user is continusly breaking the rules of Steemit platform and receiving the downvotes then his account can be permanently banned from the platform and he can never be eligible to work again on Steemit.
Yes according to me the downvotes is one of the best way to reduce the plagiarism abuse and spamming from the platform. This is because whenever we see any user which is going against the rules of Steemit platform such as he is doing spamming, creating plagiarized content and using any bid-bots service to receive the upvotes then we should downvotes that user's post and also flag. By doing that he will never receive rewards from the reward system of Steemit platform and thus he may stop doing that kind a Acts.
Overall the downvotes has a major role in maintaining the fairness justice and real spirit on that platform and help to discourage the spammers, the users who are creating plagiarized content and doing any unacceptable act. So we should keep continusly discoursing that type of contents and Play our role in maintaining the fairness of that wonderful platform.

We hate and dislike when a person's actions go viral on social media. Similarly, those people who steal posts or do anti-social activities on this platform should be warned by downvoting the posts. Inform them through this downvote so that they don't get involved in anti-social activities in any way.
Good people are harming the country at the same time as those who plagiarize and manage multiple accounts. Due to them other accounts and countries are affected badly.
