RE: Reflections of the Soul. Acrylic.
It looks as if you are developing a certain style between comics and pop art.
While observing, I thought 'what happened to the landscapes' but I believe I see one in her face.
I love how you use a limit of colours, it gives room to study, think, imagine and see the beauty of the fine lines.
I like the mouth, although it's not the mouth I like to see on people.
♥️🍀
You know I love landscape painting, I just keep trying things out. The time between power outages and such limits my time. The lighting is poor, so painting landscapes would be better during the day, for details, but my days are complicated. I've eliminated Sunday as an available day. We'll see when time allows me to paint landscapes.
I wonder if you can paint a landscape with those few lines in the face of the woman or a different portrait. I know it's poor light. I hope I can solve it once back and try to send you something (if it arrives) but it will be September, October perhaps. Let's see what arrives before I am jailed. LOL
You do great!
I'm mixed on ideas. Resources are finite at the moment. I'm exploring the idea of having a color line or palette. Something recognizable could be good, on the one hand. A collection. A gallery for the future. Should I paint everything? Or try to understand and improve in one area and then move on to the next. The other thing is, if I use specific colors in every painting, they run out faster, leaving the others to wait. The blues are at a low level. LOL. There was a bit of red left that hadn't been used. So let's use it, LOL. What do you think, should I jump into landscapes? I still like to paint; I'm sure I'll paint pelicans or strange abstract figures sometimes.
It's my belief we can at least try to paint out of our comfort zone and try different styles. At the same time, one interest can also be done in different ways (brushed, fingers, sponges, dotting, splashing...).
I started allover with new paint and tried out the colours I like most together. Preferably, 3 black and white included.
Are you able to mix your own colours?
On the other hand, the air can be: white, blue, purple, red, yellow, grey, green (Northern light). the same counts for roofs, water... our brain will recognise it no matter the colour (or you paint how a drug or drug addict or colourblind person or animal sees the world).
Are you out of red or other colours?
I paint out of the tube and mix on the paper or the cardboard I use to cover the table (also very handy for water colour paint).
I'm running low on some colors. By the way, I forgot to go to the local store to see what's new. I go through some colors quickly. Others, not so much, but you can always create.
I've been staring at it trying to count the colors.
That's sexy lips to me. 💋💋💋
I find them sexy too. They are sexy, after all. Sensual. Feminine. What do you think of red among the grays and black?
I like other lips more but I am not a male.
I don't know how to comment on art but I find that the red is used well here. It's the dominant color here yet it's not too overbearing and brings out the grays and the black.
hahahaha same here unless if they come with a man. I don't like it... I am not sure if @almaguer can paint different lips. I wonder about his model.
Remember how I improved a plug nose? After that experience, I could paint lips like making churros. Always trying to learn something in every round.
