Seeking - Art & Artists
#artonsteemit
Should I tell you how it feels not to be noticed?
Do I have to explain how it is to be ignored?
Can you explain why you don't care about art?
Artistic and creative people?
How come you never give an upvote to #art and creative?
Is labelling artists making you feel better?
If so..
Why is it you take the benefits and profit of their work?
Today is October 4th (World Animal Day) 2024
It's the day I give artists a hand. A new community is born. For now, the name of @hive-120695 will be Art & Artists. If you ask me even the shortcut A&A will do us artists justice since too many are labelled as sensitive, compared with drunk idiots, ignoring the rules, weirdos blurting the truth and they are rarely understood. I do believe that just like anyone else they deserve their own community. Will it be a success? I can't tell.
The average artist hardly promotes him/herself which is a must if you are on Steemit.
If not you will not be noticed or ignored. Ignored because the trend on Steemit is to write long epistles and if your skills are different you (r art) don't count. @tezzmax this community is for you. I hope you will post and show your collection to the world. It's worth to be noticed and look at.
I do know more artists and it's true most of them were put on hold and started posting text because of a lack of interest and indeed many also left but there are also artists still around and a part of them complains about not being noticed. Strangely enough, some are demotivated and not willing to give a hand to make this community a success. Still, I do believe it's worth the time to invest.
I hope those with an interest in art will show some support. A comment makes a world of difference and so does an upvote (you know that upvote that doesn't cost you a cent but many of you never use although you expect upvotes from others).
Let's show for a change we care and not kill creativity because we are not willing to show our appreciation. Art does make Steemit look better, imagine what this platform would look like if only text was posted without a single picture, drawing, or photo. Would you still be motivated to be here if only text is allowed?
I wish you all a great Animal Day!

Hi @wakeupkitty
Dear friend, Are you sure if this post is to attract people or scare them away? , from my perspective and with Google mediating the translation, it feels very confrontational. ☝🤔 I was struck by the use of the simile with "animal day". 🤪
Thank you for trusting me, to "give a hand" and dedicate part of my time to promoting art on Steemit, something that first of all I enjoy and am passionate about (the arts in general) and that I do as part of my "being" on the platform.
Welcome to this new community.
Of course, it is to scare the hell out of people LOL What do you think? Isn't that what artists do? Confront, showing a mirror and evoke feelings?
I thought we can wait forever and while I was answering @tezzmax I thought what the heck I make the community and we will see where the story ends.
Let's celebrate Art on Animal Day from now on. It's always good to have a party and if not I can make up something. 🤪
I would say knock yourself out. If you need a posting key let me know.
Telegram @Wakeupkitty or you can gmail me (wakeupkitty I know, I know it's not very creative).
Oh wow!
This is great and refreshing. Thank you so much for this very opportunity. I shall kick off with a drawing of mine in the community in few hours time from now.
That is great to hear! Good luck!
This is genuinely cool!
You are part of the coolness so I would say.. show your first whatever you like to share. It's fine if you promote Deviantart or something else as well.
You mean here?
I like this stuff:
No, post in the community. Good for 3 posts - you can say why - when - how- what (used).
this is really very amazing for Steemit users. And they can write down their problems basically. as you said. Actually, making a work of art is not a natural thing but we have to learn a lot to understand what art means. as a human being. Maybe to write a post, especially the most important thing is to get votes from the community. Because I think that learning to learn the most important things in art is indeed not everyone can make it.
I don't agree with you if it comes to art. Do you know where most art is made? In prison and in (mental) hospitals and even in elderly homes. Perhaps these people are better in expressing there feelings plus there's no longer the need to please someone or to hear that art doesn't pay.
Upvotes can only be given if everyone does his/her share. I don't believe this should be the task of only one person (me). Steemit is a community and it can't be so hard to hit that upvote button even if it's only once per week. It can make a world of difference.
Btw @wahyudi do you have some art to share?
I don't know how to make art but @stef1 people who excel in art but only recently I rarely see him making a work of art. And even @xpilar is the first person to always make the great works of digital art that he makes are really extraordinary. And one @sultan-Aceh, yes, recognized by many people at Steemit, yes, I am able to make my own extraordinary drawings to be published and maybe this person always makes creative art, for that I have learned to understand art but in the end I always fail maybe I have to learn more so that I can make an ideal work
Well, be can look and search for more. @jaynie is an artist and there are sculptors, painters, who knows architects? We have time. Besides writing is part of art as well but it would be good if the community has the old fashioned art look. So artists can be found, watched, talked with and upvoted. It's more like searching for a needle in a haystack now.
