RE: Caught Up!
No stress at all, until the selling part:) Always a tough time there. Sure, I could set up more of a “factory” effort, and put out work quicker and more efficiently. I prefer taking just the right amount of time on each painting. Sometimes it’s a unique puzzle to piece together. Other times the process moves very quickly, and everything falls into place. I never spend more than 90 minutes on one of these paintings. I couldn’t imagine taking any three of these and getting the same results if I worked on all of them at once. Like having three conversations at the same time. Too confusing and loss of substance.
If painting ever caused me stress, I would end my painting career. Art is work, but it has yet to put pressure on me to work.
Thank you!
IMG I need way more time than 90 minutes if it comes to it I am very slow.

I am hyperactive in everything, except sleeping:) I’m a bit dizzy from the mineral spirits. I’m going to work with acrylic this week.
Sounds like a good plan. I only once used mineral spirit for the oil pastels. My oilpaint is mixable with water. I have some other but didn't use it.
