I open the archive, I see some photo that I took some time ago and I want to change this result, use other tools, adjust the emotional tone, remove something unnecessary ... :)

Действительно эмоциональная нагрузка в начале работы и при её завершении сильно отличаются друг от друга. Можно предположить, что в начале и в конце над картиной работали два разных человека ))
Мне это чем-то напомнило постобработку фотографий.
Я открываю архив, вижу какое-то фото, которое делал некоторое время назад и мне хочется изменить этот результат, использовать другие инструменты, скорректировать эмоциональный тон, убрать что-то лишнее... :)
That's so true. Both painting and photography always rely on emotions, mood, and the circumstances we’re going through.
At the moment of taking a photo or during a painting session, we see things in a certain way — and later, we might see the exact same things from a completely different perspective and with a different feeling.
At the beginning of the painting, I thought the oud would be the main subject. But as I got deeper into the work and the cassette tapes started to appear, they completely stole my heart 😅
So I made them the true stars of the painting. The change in background colors was also meant to highlight the tapes and bring out the warmth in that part of the scene.
Yes, you're right. It also happens that at the moment of shooting it is important for you to show one thing, but looking at the monitor your attitude changes and you want to highlight something else. And it happens not so rarely))

Да, ты прав. Бывает и так, что в момент съёмки тебе важно показать что-то одно, а рассматривая на мониторе твоё отношение меняется и хочется выделить что-то другое. И это бывает не так уж редко ))
We can see this with actors when they take on a certain role — they often stay immersed in the character for a long time in order to maintain the same personality and emotions.

I used to use a metaphor in my seminars to explain how people relate to each other.
"Imagine yourself as a fish in an aquarium. At the same time, the man dipped his fingers into the water, just his fingers. You see 5 fingers and no relationship between them. But actually, this is the brush of the person who supports and feeds you."
