I don't do collection toning :). This is a special hobby of some people. Someone collects stamps, someone collects cars, I know someone who collects cameras.
But I have a lot of different things that at first glance may seem completely unnecessary and superfluous :))
At some point, each of them becomes useful, but it's not necessary. I just like to do different things with my own hands and for this you need to have the source materials))
Black and white photographs convey shapes and meanings well, cutting off unnecessary visual information related to color. But there are cases when color is important in itself and it carries a certain semantic or emotional load. In fact, it's a difficult question to choose between a color and a black-and-white image.
It also happens that I take photos in black and white camera mode, but at the same time I use the RAW format. As a result, all the information from the matrix is recorded in memory, and about the color, too. During post-processing, I have a choice whether to remove the color or leave it.
I've noticed that the comments in the community are more informative, and that's nice. This approach encourages conversation and reflection.

Но бывают случаи, когда цвет важен сам по себе и он несёт определённую смысловую или эмоциональную нагрузку. На самом деле это сложный вопрос - выбор между цветным и чёрно-белым изображением.
Бывает и так, что я делаю фотографии в чёрно-белом режиме камеры, но при этом использую RAW-формат. В итоге в память записывается вся информация с матрицы и о цвете тоже. При постобработке у меня есть выбор, убрать цвет или оставить.
