Thank you for speaking up for me. I paint just for fun. I won't be influenced by others. I am already a middle-aged person. He won't get angry easily.

Sort:

He's a master of the pencil. You talk about painting only for fun. Ninety-six percent of the world's population doesn't even come close to you. Painting, like any art form, is complicated. Only practice and study lead to mastery. I'm sure you can sell or put on exhibitions; I'd happily attend one of those.
P.S. Criticism always provides insights; bad opinions also tell us. All we can do is keep perfecting ourselves; critics are never capable of creating the work they criticize.
@wakeupkitty I totally agree with you. Never stop painting.

hi @almaguer Good evening.I can’t hold an art exhibition, let alone sell paintings.Drawing can help me forget my worries. I love painting, which can help me develop patience.
As long as someone likes my paintings, I will give it to them. As long as you really like it. I have drawn portraits for some of my friends. They all helped to draw it for free. As long as people like my paintings. This goes beyond the value and meaning of the painting.

I just want you to understand that your level of painting, your defined style, is very, very professional. You love doing it, and that's extremely important because the passion with which you do it shows. When you paint because you enjoy it, you feel it; the observer enjoys it just the same. Forget criticism if it's not accurate and well-founded.
I also start from the idea that art has no specific value. No amount of money can pay for what a work costs.
I'm just showing you that, even if you wanted to, you could sell them, because they contain a lot of art and artistic value.
I understand how you feel. It's also hard to let go of the works we've created with so much love. Good luck. Don't let anything stop you from painting. I'll be here to enjoy your art.

All that counts is that it brings you happiness. I aaked my son to look at your drawing and he agrees you are far above simple or average. He says the hair looks great (I say the same) and if you receive that many negative critics these are most likely generated by bots.
Many social media seem to use them or they hire internet bullies.

You are never too old to learn, improve, try out or change your style. Lookat the old old and famous painters.

All you can do is getting better which happens otherwise your feiends wouldn't ask or like the results.

Have you thought about starting a drawing club?

🍀♥️

感谢你鼓励。也感谢你儿子不嫌弃。
