Cabbage salad

Today it was a sale on cabbage so I made a cabbage salad.
1 cabbage head
1 red onion
5 tablespoons apple vinegar
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
I started by cutting up the cabbage, the thinner the better, and a red onion because I like a red union.
Then I go up the onion and put them together with the apple cider vinegar and salt. Then I mixed it in the bowl and kneaded it almost like a dough to make the cabbage softer.
Then I put it in the fridge for an hour so that the salt and vinegar have time to drive water out of the cabbage so it becomes soft and easily chewed.
Then I added the black pepper, oregano and extra virgin olive oil for the taste and mixed it down. It tasted good when I tasted the salad!
