Sweet Style Spaghetti

To some, it's a nightmare. But to every Filipino kid is a bliss.

Back in the world war days, food was scarce. There was a shortage of tomato sauce plus tomatoes don't grow well in the Philippines back then. Since Bananas are a lot more available and cheaper, Banana catsup was invented as an alternative - a sweet version of catsup.

Since then, we've incorporated most of our dishes with Banana catsup, and that includes spaghetti. And because spaghetti is a default dish at every kid's party, hotdogs and cheese were added on the ingredient.

This reminds me of my childhood.
