a case of weekend blues anyone ?

in LifeStyle3 years ago

weekends used to be something to look forward to during school & college & even while on the job, if not always full of fun, it was full of activity of some kind or the other, getting chores done, taking kids out for dinner, catching up on sleep or that show id been wanting to see.

Now that i work for myself, weekends dont hold that charm anymore, everyday is a weekend and conversly no day is a weekend, when i have work, i work irrespective of what day of the week it is, When i have chores, i do chores, when i want to catch dinner or take the kids somewhere or even catch up on sleep, i do it on that day or earliest chance i get. so weekends have lost their significance.

Instead, i find myself frequently feeling restless, irritable, even depressed, having less to do due to markets closed and other people = (clients) taking a holiday, usually means im sitting & thinking (usually negatively) about how things are going, professionally & personally & cant help the nagging feeling that im wasting the day away.

Anyone else who works for themselves or is a workoholic feel this way too?
