"Strategic Secret Service": What is an angel? What is the devil?
Harvard University once asked a famous question: a train would hit five people. Changing lanes could save these five people, but it would kill everyone else. What would you do?
Faced with this problem, no one can guarantee that the answer he gave is the right one, but what if we increase the bargaining value?
One film addresses such a problem.
In 2010, the film "Strategic Secret Service Team" was released.
One morning, FBI agents from the Los Angeles branch discovered that all televisions were broadcasting a wanted Steven Arthur Young warrant, arguing that the man was suspected of involvement in the shooting case and that he had killed a policeman.
How could He De, the suspect in the shooting case, need to alarm all the TV stations? Soon, Brody, the agent in charge, was informed that he was going to tackle a major national security case.
Arriving at the head office, Brody was shocked to find that the one involved in the big case was Arthur Young, who was wanted on TV. He also calls himself a Muslim name: Yusuf Mohammed. He has been arrested at this time, but it is difficult to understand because he was arrested on his own initiative: he walked into a shopping center and stood under the camera for more than 20 minutes doing nothing until two agents caught him.
Arthur Young, his real identity is not a suspect in the shooting, but a former US Special Forces bomb expert, who mainly knows about nuclear bombs. Now he has stolen 18 pounds of nuclear material, then made three nuclear bombs and placed them in three cities and the nuclear bombs will detonate on Friday.
Obviously, Young must have been arrested for some purpose. However, no matter what method the military used, there was no clue from it. They are not allowed to seek expert assistance. For that, they invited the SHIELD director, Nick ..... Sorry I have the film. The FBI's best original agent, Dr. H.
Director, oh no, Dr. H really surprised everyone in the room as soon as he moved: What are you doing in a matter like this, don't talk nonsense, first cut two fingers. Terrified, the military rushed in and expelled Dr. H. (Too much ketchup on camera, so I won't take a picture)
Brody, who raised the banner of humanity, could no longer stand it. At first he condemned this as a violation of humanitarian treaties, then condemned H's behavior that violated the constitution. But superiors said: If a nuclear bomb exploded, even the Constitution wouldn't exist! For the safety of tens of millions of people, the central government authorized Dr. H to take any action.
"If a nuclear bomb explodes, not even a constitution will exist!" Boss reply
Dr. H is an expert in this area. Years of dealing with terrorists tell him that you have no choice but to be more violent than terrorists. Tortures such as electric shocks, suffocation and hand cutting were carried out one by one. Brody chooses to understand emotion and reason, hoping to influence Young, of course this doesn't help. Under Dr. H's increasingly cruel torment, Younger finally agrees to state his request:
"The United States is withdrawing all its troops in the Middle East, and will no longer interfere in all affairs of the Muslim world."
Faced with such a huge demand, the military naturally couldn't make a decision, and with such a huge appetite, they began to wonder if all of this was a scam that Younger had designed. Brody uses Young's son as a bargaining chip, and continues to understand him with emotion and reason, finally finding a place. After searching, the military found no traces of the bomb, just as everyone breathed a sigh of relief, they were beaten on the face the next second.
A bomb exploded at a shopping center, killing 53 people.
The interrogation continued. It was Friday, and the police were lucky to find a nuclear bomb, but just over 3 hours before the time of the explosion, it was almost impossible to find the two remaining. In desperation, H takes a more extreme approach: H finds Young's wife, then cuts her neck in front of him.
The younger ones were distracted, but still clinging to their limits and refusing to say a word. H also shows the final attitude: If I can kill your wife, can't I move your children? I can do everything!
Sure enough, stimulated by his son's terrified cries, Young's final psychological defenses collapsed. However H still refused to stop, he firmly believed that there was a fourth nuclear bomb. The military really couldn't take it anymore, and the interrogation was forcibly interrupted. Then H's words stunned everyone present: 18 pounds of nuclear material, the nuclear bombs found were all 4.5 pounds, so what about 4.5 pounds?
But Brody refused to agree to continue the interrogation no matter what, he had to ensure the safety of his two children. At this time, Yang Gechen took out a gun indiscriminately and committed suicide by drinking bullets.
The last chance was completely destroyed.
The film's final snap is focused on the fourth nuclear bomb that will end the countdown.
Returning to the original question, if the ratio is 1; 5 makes people doubt, what about 1:50 million?
Brody is undoubtedly the image of a Virgin in this process. From start to finish, he always professed obedience to the constitution, obeyed humanity, and opposed Dr. H. After the explosion at the mall, he blamed Yang Caosuga for his life and tricked him. Until finally, he continued to use humanity and forcibly prevented interrogation on the grounds of protecting children, even though Dr. H just tied the two children and took a syringe to scare them. Was it because the atomic bomb humanitarianism exploded and killed tens of millions of people?
The whole point of the film's thinking, it seems to me, is this part.
During the interrogation, Dr. H's wife came to visit him, Brody asked wife H. How do you and your child live with such an abnormal person.
H's wife told Brody a story: "I was in Romania. One day, three people broke into my house. They raped me in front of my family and then killed my family. Her son was the last to die. These three people were my neighbors, they all know me, and they all look normal. "
Fierce, evil, tattooed people can jump into the turbulent stream to save a puppy; a speaker who is high-pitched and right on stage may be secretly making an embarrassing transaction. Dr. H uses the most evil means to save the world; Brody dressed as an angel, but pushed the world to hell; and Young, who looks like a victim, has a number on his hand. from the lives of thousands of people.
What is justice? What's evil?
What is goodness? What is cruelty?
What is an angel? What is a demon?
It must have reminded me of the "Hungry Sudan" photo that shocked the world in 1994.
An emaciated, dying Sudanese girl and an eye-catching vulture are about to move.
With this photo, photographer Kevin Carter won the top award in the press-the Pulitzer Prize. But after honor, curses and curses from all over the world followed.
"Selfish, stepping on a little girl's corpse to receive an award."
"If you die, you have no humanity!"
Under the world's verbal criticism, Kevin Carter chose suicide as the end of his life. But in fact, the place where this photo was taken was near a rescue post, and the little girl also received humanitarian assistance at that time. After pressing the shut button, Kevin Carter shooed the vultures away, then went under the tree and started crying ...
Kevin at least went to Africa and Sudan to let the world see all this; and how much do those who stand on high moral ground?
From God's point of view, we can see all of this clearly, but when we are in it, how many people can maintain real common sense.
I hope everyone can maintain the face of a true angel from start to finish.
Hell is empty and the devil is on earth.
