🥞 Three Flavor Coconut Crepes 🥥 An Ital Khmer Recipe 👩🍳
Hi everybody, I made vegan (Ital) Khmer crepes a few days ago, but I just made post and share with you. This is a recipe so easy to make and it is from simple ingredients.
Normally, this recipe is made with pandan leaves or other chemical color, but I don’t like the chemical color from the store. I think it’s not good for health.
I use only fresh colors from nature. Today I do not have pandan leaves, so I use Indian mint and pumpkin for making colors. But when I lazy I don’t use colors also, it tastes the same, but if use pandan leaves it smells very good and looks more delicious than plain color.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups water of pumpkin
- 100g pumpkin for make color
- 1/2 cup coconut milk or more
- 4 tbsp sugar or taste
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 coconut's meat, or as you like
- 2 tbsp black sesame seeds, or as you like
I just show you how to make it only one color, but it’s the same recipe. You can use the other color or not use the color as you want.
Then I peel the coconut and I split it in two. Then I used an instrument to scrape the coconut. I grind pumpkin with water, then I filter the pumpkin meat away.
Then I took one big bowl and put flour, salt, sugar, then stir it and pour coconut milk and water pumpkin stir it until dissolved. After I put sesame seeds and coconut, then stir it a little.
Heat pan and reduce to the smallest flame, then take one big spoon of batter and pour in the pan. While pouring make it very thin, then put a lid on the pan maybe a few minutes. After take the lid away.
You can roll it on the pan or make it like you want.
The people in my country add eggs also, but my style is Ital cooking, so I make vegan. If you eat eggs, you can add one or two eggs for this recipe. Have a nice day everyone 😊.
