Hello WORLD! After three years of inactivity, I am back.

I'm back to Steemit. The community has changed a lot. There are many new users, old friends are gone, so I think a brand-new brief introduction is necessary! I'm Jonathan Montero from Cumaná in Venezuela, a place with beautiful beaches. I am currently 30 years old, and I graduated from the University as a Public Accountant.

I currently work from home as a freelance translator since the pandemic made us change our lifestyle.

I learned a lot during my time at home: how to cook, bake bread, make desserts, and it made me change the way I see life. It made me think that life does not have a pause button, that we need to keep moving, that we need to be in constant evolution to face everything that appears in front of us.

That change of perspective led me to a new ambition: suddenly, I wanted to learn a new profession by myself. I have seen it with great fascination, and I firmly believe that it is the future- PROGRAMMING. This year, I have started an intensive course to learn how to program and write code. It is exciting and makes me feel passionate about it, but this new world is also scary in a certain way. Why? "Because it is very difficult." I don't know that, but we're going to give it a try, and if we face any obstacle in the road, we'll hopefully find the solution because that's what programming is all about.

Therefore, I have decided to recover my Steemit account. I'll post here everything I learn about programming. Why? Because one of the most helpful tips when learning something new is to put it into practice. And writing about it will make the process easier.

I hope to have the support of this great community. Your comments, contributions, questions, and advice will be well received. This challenge is quite exciting, as I am someone starting from scratch. I have no knowledge in this area, and I hope to be able to see my growth when reading my old posts, a year from now.
