Type 4: Considering one's failure as misfortune

Type 5: Thinking that if you don't have money, you should suppress your inner needs

Some people think that they should give up unrealistic fantasies because they have no money. Thinking that because they don't have money, they shouldn't fall in love or buy a car. People who think this way are overcoming anxiety by suppressing their inner needs. To the average person, if they have their eye on a car, but they are anxious because they don't have money. In order to avoid the anxiety of not being able to afford the car they like, such people simply suppress the urge to buy a car. Obviously, this can indeed avoid the inner anxiety. But the side effect of this is that they don't have any motivation to work either. Therefore, people who adhere to this belief will have a narrower and narrower path in the future.
