Hello my dear colleagues on this great platform, @amazing-ghana, how are you all doing today? It is a pleasure to be part of this amazing platform with vision and a lot of young talented steemians like @anas, @juzkid, @kookd, @sarkodieeric and many others. I am very proud to be part of this great platform. I am also very delighted to share my favourite activities in the week contest organized by @amazing-ghana community, written by @juzkid.

CULTURAL DRESSES IN GHANA

They have been a lot of activities in this week which all of the activities are very interesting and worth to witness. My favourite activities in the week is the school culture day which was celebrated today in all schools in Ghana. During this day, every teacher or student is entitled to wear his or her cultural dress to school.

We have diversity of cultures In Ghana. Each and everyone have their own way of live in which they live. The dress they wear, the language, the food they eat and many more.

COOKED PLANTAIN

COOKED YAM AND COCOYAM LEAFS STEW AND BOILD EGGS PLUS SALTED FISH

MASHED ROASTED PLANTAIN, ROASTED GROUNDNUT, EGGS, PEAR AND PALMNUT OIL

At 9:00 am in the morning, almost all the pupils were in the school with their cultural dresses. Each and every pupil wear his or her cultural dress to show their colleagues. This is a way to embrace all cultural practices in Ghana and also promote unity among cultural groups in the school. With this, the pupils will learn to accept an tolerate one another.

Not dresses alone, they also came along with their cultural foods. Some prepared it from at home and brought it to school while others brought the raw materials home and prepared it in the school. The food were exchanged among the various cultural groups in the school. They all sat together and enjoyed their cultural food.
