welcome to steemit. I am an Indian and use this recipe. To mitigate the sharpness of the turmeric, first massage your face with coconut oil or any other oil that you use. Then mix a pinch of turmeric with one tablespoon of besan/gram flour and milk/water and spread on face. wash before it dries out. Why I wrote this is becaue turmeric could be allergic to many and the oil reduces the bad effect and the stains.
