Trying some astro photography
Last weekend we went down to Port Lincoln in South Australia, and the stars in the sky were in full effect!
I didn't have my tripod with me, but I wanted to see if I could get a photo of the milky-way.
We headed down to the beach with beers in hand, and the core of the milky-way was just rising above the horizon.
So I set my camera up on some rocks and tried my luck with the timer on and shutter at 20 sec, f2. 8, iso 3000.
I lit up the foreground with my phobe for a split second and the end result wasn't to bad at all.
I edited these images in light room on my phone. Shoot with a sony a7iii with a tamron 28-75 lens.
I'm looking forward to trying this again very soon with a tripod this time, so I can get some portrait shots of the milky-way.
Has anyone got any tips or tricks for astro photography?
Thanks for stopping by 😊
