If you are tired of ordinary vegetables in the garden, you can plant unusual (sorry for the tautology 😃). For example, chives are decorative flowering onions. Its stems are edible, as in ordinary onions, only thinner. They can be added, for example, to green salads or to decorate sandwiches. Or you can just plant near the house and admire the many purple flowers. The scientific name of this flowering onion is Allium schoenoprasum L. (there are other species), it blooms almost all summer. Loves when there is a lot of light and is frost-resistant, which in our climate is an important factor (this year has demonstrated the dangers of May frosts). I personally use chives both for food and for decorative purposes. And you already choose 😉	Якщо вам набридли звичайні овочі на грядці, можна посадити незвичайні (даруйте за тавтологію😃). Ось наприклад цибуля-шніт – декоративна квітуча цибуля. Її стебла їстівні, як у звичайної ріпчастої цибулі, тільки більш тонші. Їх можна додавати, наприклад, до зелених салатів чи для декорування канапок. А можна просто посадити біля хати та милуватися численними фіолетовими квіточками. Наукова назва цієї квітучої цибулі – Allium schoenoprasum L. (є й інші види), вона цвіте впродовж майже усього літа. Полюбляє, коли багато світла і є морозостійкою, що в наших кліматичних умовах є важливим фактором (цей рік продемонстрував всю небезпеку травневих заморозків). Я особисто використовую цибулю-шніт як для їжі, так і з декоративною метою. А ви вже обирайте 😉
