Hola a todos los Stemians que me leen hoy. Espero que todo vaya bien con ustedes y que su día haya estado de maravilla. Yo por mi parte me encuentro bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una serie de fotografías que hice el día de ayer en una de mis salidas de compras.

Para los que me visitan por primera vez, mucho gusto mi nombre es Kerit y soy de Venezuela, Estado Táchira y estas fotos son en mi ciudad. La cuarentena ha impactado significativamente las calles de mi ciudad, el lado positivo es que se ven las calles mucho más limpias, lo malo muchas tiendas y negocios han tenido que cerrar sus puertas por la ausencia de clientela y porque no han puesto en marcha estrategias para sobrellevar la pandemia.

For those who visit me for the first time, I'm glad my name is Kerit and I'm from Venezuela, Táchira State and these photos are in my city. The quarantine has significantly impacted the streets of my city, the positive side is that the streets are much cleaner, the bad thing is that many stores and businesses have had to close their doors due to the absence of customers and because they have not put in place strategies to cope with the pandemic.

Disfruto el hecho de salir de compras, ya que debido a la situación escasa de transporte público, tenemos que ir de un sitio a otro caminando y para desplazarse nada mejor que las caminatas citadinas, el punto positivo es que contribuyen a la salud jaja, y bueno tomamos más sol. La verdad no me resulta molestia alguna caminar, ya es parte de mi rutina diaria, solo que bueno tienes que salir con anticipación si quieres llegar a tiempo a tu destino.

I enjoy going shopping, because due to the scarce situation of public transport, we have to go from one place to another on foot and to get around nothing better than city walks, the positive point is that they contribute to health haha, and well we take more sun. The truth is that it is not a bother to walk, it is already part of my daily routine, only good you have to leave early if you want to get to your destination on time.

Todos se preguntaran esta muchacha vive en Venezuela, un país inseguro azotado por la delincuencia, ¿cómo hace para tomar las fotos? Pues bueno, déjenme decirles que últimamente en las calles de mi ciudad he sentido una tensa calma. Incluso he dejado de escuchar sobre asaltos o robos a ciudadanos y a negocios. Quizás es porque muchos venezolanos han emigrado, o quizás por la pandemia y hay pocas personas en las calles o quizás es mi impresión o visión de la realidad. Lo importante es que he logrado sacar el teléfono sin sentir tanto miedo, pero siempre con precaución, mirando para todos lados y tomando fotos rápidas.

Everyone will wonder this girl lives in Venezuela, an insecure country plagued by crime, how do you take the photos? Well, let me tell you that lately in the streets of my city I have felt a tense calm. I have even stopped listening to robberies or robberies of citizens and businesses. Perhaps it is because many Venezuelans have emigrated, or perhaps because of the pandemic and there are few people on the streets, or perhaps it is my impression or vision of reality. The important thing is that I have managed to take out the phone without feeling so much fear, but always with caution, looking everywhere and taking quick photos.

Finalmente, la mejor parte del paseo además de hacer las compras, fue lograr estas lindas fotografías que hoy quise compartir con ustedes. No estoy en Inglaterra, ni en Francia y ni mucho menos en Nueva York, pero valoro y quiero a mi tierra, aprecio cada espacio y cada lugar que me ofrece mi ciudad, mientras pueda disfrutar de lugares más lindos. Siempre digo, a todo hay que verle el lado positivo y eso estoy haciendo, espero que ustedes también puedan hacerlos. Me despido y espero leerlos en una próxima ocasión.
