Have you ever wondered why most plants look green? This is because during the process of making their food they absorb the whole spectrum of light waves except the green light, which is reflected back and that is what we see.

What if plants were able to absorb even the light wavelength that was green? Would our world of plants then look a bit like these water plants in the pond?
