Trashumancia / Transhumance

Entre el polvo que va dejando el ganado a su paso, aparece el llanero, viajero misterioso y solitario, quien se adentra en la sabana. El es testigo de una relación milenaria que nos habla de la forma en hemos habitado el extenso paisaje, natural y cultural al mismo tiempo .

Among the dust that the cattle leave behind, the llanero appears, a mysterious and solitary traveler, who enters the savanna. He is witness to a millennial relationship that tells us about the way we have inhabiting the vast landscape, natural and cultural at the same time.

Trashumancia es una forma de pastoreo que se basa en el movimiento constante de los animales hacia nuevos sitios donde pastar, recorriendo grandes extensiones en viajes que pueden durar varios días.

Transhumance is a form of grazing that is based on the constant movement of animals to new places to graze, covering large areas on trips that can last several days.
