If there is one Brazilian footballer in the history of the Champions League who has led a team to the final, it is still Thiago Silva. The 36-year-old, who can play for 90 minutes on the field for the best league in the world, is at least inappropriate for anyone questioning his age and physicality. To name a few of the best center-backs of this generation, you have to mention Thiago Silva. Of course, whatever he has done in the last decade, you have to keep him in this category. If you watch football at least regularly, then I don't have to ask this question a second time.

Well, if you are asked which position players get the most spotlight in football, The answer may be very simple for you. You might say, strikers. Well now let's ask a little differently. Who will get more spotlight between the goalkeeper and the defensive line except the attacking line and mid position? The question is, maybe the goalkeeper, then who stays behind the scenes..? Defenders will be the answer. The Monster is Thiago Silva, who has been consistently performing as a center-back defender for over a decade and a half. From a young age, he grew up with poverty, emptiness, deprivation, hunger, struggle, and a lack of family to make ends meet. In the midst of all this, one of the biggest scars of his life was the separation of his parents. He came out in a media report and said that he missed his father very much at that time. It broke him emotionally from within and had a special effect on his normal life. After so much, this warrior did not stop; he fought with himself and moved forward.

Thiago Silver's family was so poor that they could not even afford to rent a bus to go to school properly. Thiago Silva is a Brazilian. Of course, Brazilians are very talented. But Thiago Silva has worked hard to find his way. When he took up football as a career, he auditioned for various clubs, but each time he was turned down. He and his friend David Luiz have always dreamed of representing Brazil in a Brazilian yellow jersey. Eventually, he went to Paulo Cesar Carpegian to get the big club's attention. He joined Brazil's Southern R-S football league. He eventually became a professional footballer. After working hard in the third division, he set foot in the second division. Then his performance became more beautiful. Silva officially joined Juventude in 2004, where he spent six months transforming from a midfielder to a defender. He was then selected as the third best defender in Brazil after a great performance. Then Silva came to the notice of everyone. Juventude sold him to Porto.

Porto bought Silva for more than 2 million euros. However, he only played for the reserve team there. He spent a season in Portugal and then reached an agreement with Dynamo Moscow. While in Moscow, Silva suffered from tuberculosis, which almost certainly had a major impact on her life. And for a while, after battling an illness, Silva decided to retire from football. But Silva's mother persuaded him, and Silva finally joined Fluminense in 2006 with the help of his former coach. After a good season at Fluminense, Silva won a prestigious trophy for the first time. His performance at Fluminense caught the eye of AC Milan. He was named the 3rd best centerback of the season for AC Milan. Silva not only won Serie A for Milan this season, but was considered the best player in the Milan team. Next to his name came the badge of the best centerback in the world at that time. This is where the story of Silver becoming the best in the world begins. Despite not winning any major trophies for Milan last season, he was showing off his performances from last season. He was also nominated for Serie A Player of the Year that season.

The next chapter of Silver's career is the most controversial, perhaps the most regrettable. In 2012, PSG bought him for 42 million euros. It was speculated that Milan legend Paulo Maldini gave him a positive signal to move to PSG and that Milan was forced to sell him because he was financially responsible. A total of 23 trophies, including 6 League One and 6 Copa France wins for PSG, may not seem awkward to anyone. Because the difference between the standards of the other team and those of PSG in France is sky-high. PSG played its first Champions League final under a cold-headed silver captain. After spending 8 years with PSG, Silver's next destination is Chelsea. The Silver Chelsea chapter not only wiped out the regrets of his career, but also made his career complete. Here, Silva wins the Champions League. Not only did he win the Champions League, but he led the 36-year-old Silva Defense from the front and led his team to the crown of Europe's best. Performing regularly in the Premier League, he has done his best.

The 38-year-old Silva is still the lifeblood, an integral part of the defense of both Club Chelsea and the national team of Brazil. Talent or one's own labor, unyielding mentality is the story behind it all. I don't know how long he will play, but thanks to the Monster for everything he has done so far or what he has given to Brazil.

Best Regards.

Totally Thiago Silva is one of the best center backs in the world, his career has been very successful since his time at Milan, until now at Chelsea where he continues to be a great reference of the central backline.

That stage where he had tuberculosis was surely very hard, but overcoming that makes him a very strong man, I did not like him to go to PSG, but at least he could win several titles and almost won the Champions League final.

This man, despite his 38 years of age, still has enough time to play this World Cup with Brazil, then at club level I see him playing until he is 40 years old and that because his physique still allows him to do so.

At this stage of his career, the style and formation of Chelsea is perfect for him (at least it was this season). In a back 5 with Rudiger one side and Azpilicueta or James on the other, he doesn't need to sprint around like a maniac and can concentrate on being in the right place and distributing the ball. With Rudiger gone though, things will become more difficult - I'm expecting Christensen to slot in for Rudiger who isn't as reliable and the consequence might be that Silva is forced to do more of what he shouldn't be doing any more - running. We'll see though. Silva could make Christensen a better player.

I think chelsea will look for a replacement of Rudiger in the upcoming transfer window.

I suppose that will depend whether or not they find a buyer. Presumably, if Abramovich can't sell the club, Chelsea won't be allowed to buy anybody.

Chelsea is already sold.

Thanks. I thought the handover is done.

👍 I think that the footballing world will breathe a sigh of relief when it is.

I totally agree with you.

Esa generación de silva y alves son incasable jugando al más alto nivel, muy buen contenido, espero seguir leyéndote

Thanks. I will try to post regularly.

Hello friend, Thiago Silva is a great footballer, when he was at his best he did a great job and will be remembered forever, he was very strong and accurate, he was like those old time defenders. Greetings and thanks for posting on #wearesports.

He is still at his best. He is performing like a beast in Chelsea.

Thanks for reading.
