Hello dear friends and members of Geography 🌎🌏🌍, I have some announcements for you:

First of all, I want to thank you for being here!! I think this community can be really big since, on #steemit, there are people from all over the world, living in different countries and cities. In addition, each neighborhood, each place, no matter how small, has its peculiarities and it is beautiful to be able to show that.
On the other hand, Geography is an immense science, so soon we will be talking about population, migration, climate, natural risks, natural resources, and many other aspects.
As a Geographer, I have found a purpose here at #steemit, and it is to teach you the things that I know about Geography, and that at the same time you teach me since a lot can be read in books and on the Internet, but there is nothing like the experience in place to incorporate the corresponding information.
Without a doubt I think that Geography is a science that can help us improve the world in which we live. Knowing the vulnerability of a place, spreading the importance of protecting the environment around the world, and valuing the population that inhabits each space, we can all cooperate so that this beautiful planet that gives us a home remains healthy.
2- Be careful with your posts!! ⚠️
Second, I am very happy about your participation in the first Geography contest. It is a contest in which you inevitably have to resort to sources of information to complement what we already know about our city or country, but please do not copy what you read.
I have not wanted to be hard on you by pointing it out in each publication, because I greatly value your effort and time writing and adding photos. Your sources for the images are very well cited, but I have been surprised to read paragraphs literally copied and pasted from elsewhere.
In that case, you have to:
- Directly quote the author, because is not you
- Read, understand and write what was read in your own words, and cite the source from which it was obtained
Then I will leave a post from the community Newcomers so that you read this plagiarism well and please from this moment, take it into account for each publication you make on Steemit. Next time, I will have to tell you in your own post and neither you nor I want that because it is to expose a bad action that perhaps, you did because you did not know this rule. That is why here I share the next publication, so you are informed about it.

Hola queridos amigos y miembros de Geography 🌎🌏🌍, tengo algunos comunicados para ustedes:
1 - Agradecimiento!! 🙏
En primer lugar quiero agradecerles por estar aquí!! Creo que esta comunidad puede ser realmente grande, ya que en #steemit, hay personas de todo el mundo, que viven en distintos países y ciudades. Además, cada barrio, cada lugar, por más pequeño que sea, tiene sus particularidades y es hermoso poder mostrar eso.
Por otro lado, la Geografía es una ciencia inmensa, por lo que pronto estaremos hablando de población, migraciones, clima, riesgos naturales, recursos naturales, y muchos aspectos más.
Como Geógrafa, he encontrado un propósito aquí en #steemit, y es enseñarles las cosas que sé con respecto a la Geografía, y que al mismo tiempo ustedes me enseñen, ya que mucho se puede leer en libros y en Internet pero no hay nada como la experiencia en el lugar para incorporar la información correspondiente.
Sin dudas pienso que la Geografía es una ciencia que nos puede ayudar a mejorar el mundo en el que vivimos. Teniendo conocimiento de la vulnerabilidad de un lugar, expandiendo por el mundo la importancia de proteger al medioambiente y valorando a la población que habita cada espacio, todos podemos cooperar para que este hermoso planeta que nos da un hogar, permanezca saludable.
2 - Cuidado con sus publicaciones!! ⚠️
En segundo lugar, estoy muy contenta por su participación en el primer concurso de Geography. Se trata de un concurso en el que inevitablemente hay que recurrir a fuentes de información para complementar lo que ya sabemos de nuestra ciudad o país, pero por favor, no copien lo que leen.
No he querido ser dura con ustedes señalandolo en cada publicación, porque valoro enormemente su esfuerzo y tiempo escribiendo y agregando fotografías. Sus fuentes para las imágenes están muy bien citadas, pero me he llvado la sorpresa de leer párrafos literalmente copiados y pegados de otros lugares.
En ese caso tienen que:
- Citar directamente al autor, porque no son ustedes
- Leer, comprender y redactar con sus palabras lo leído y citar la fuente de donde se obtuvo
A continuación dejaré un posteo de la comunidad Newcomers para que leas bien esto del plagio y por favor desde este momento, lo tengas en cuenta para cada publicación que hagas en Steemit. La próxima vez, tendré que decírtelo en tu propio posteo y ni vos ni yo queremos eso, porque es dejar en evidencia una mala acción que quizás hiciste porque no sabías esta regla. Por eso aquí te comparto esta publicación, así están informado/apara la próxima.

#steemit es una plataforma muy seria, es un microblog. Aquí puedes encontrar tu propia voz. Pero como es un espacio para crear, se respeta enormemente a cada autor. Por ello el plagio está prohibido.
