🎬MOVIE TIME!🌎 🎬MOVIE TIME!🌎 The Old Guard (2020)

So... This movie wins my best rated 2020 movie sincerely, from the coming together of great supposed immortal mecernaries coming together to form an elite force, lol wait let me give you the plot of the movie, trust me you'd love it.

The movie starts from a mission, which proves to be a ruse from an old client former CIA operative James Copley to help rescue a group of kidnapped girls in South Sudan. The star of the movie Andromache "Andy" of Scythia went out of the code of never working for the same employers twice and that was exactly were all the problems started. Andromache , Booker, Joe, and Nicky, centuries-old warriors with unexplained regenerative healing abilities had always used their vast experiences to work as mercenaries, taking on missions that help people well some for a cost though.

Whilst on the mission, they were ambushed and killed. But with their powers and after recovering and killing their attackers, they realize that Copley had set them up and remotely filmed their regeneration.
Copley (who I literally did not like at first) shows the video of the ambush to Steven Merrick who was a pharmaceutical executive, and then some operatives were sent to capture the team.

Just before this incident, in Afghanistan, U.S. Marine Nile Freeman was throat slitted whilst taking down a military target during a house search, only to recover without a scratch. She started sharing dreams with the other immortals like herself which then through it were alerted by her existence. Andy quickly tracks down Nile and extracts her from Afghanistan before military personnels would turn her to a lab rat.

Andy takes Nile to a safe house in France, where she meets the rest of their crew.
She is told about the female immortal Quynh, the first of Andy's comrade and friend, who was captured, accused of witchcraft and lost to them when she was thrown somewhere into the sea in an iron maiden, and has been continually drowning ever since. The team also revealed that they are not totally immortal and their ability to heal eventually stops and it does this without warning, Andy told Nile about the previous immortal, her comrade, Lykon.

Unfortunately, the team was attacked by merrick's operatives in the safe house taking Joe and Nicky hostage while Booker was left in a with his guts out. Andy coming back, killed all of the operatives but was injured unknowingly to her and funny enough she wasn't healing no more. Booker reaches out to Copley and made some plots with him, while Nile separates from the group to reunite with her family.

Andy and Booker later confronted Copley, only for Booker to betray Andy and shoot her at her side, with the intent that Merrick might find a way to end the immortality they are both tired of.

As they were being captured, Booker later realizes that Andy is not healing. Copley became sober after he found out that Merrick was ready to torture the immortals to the fullest for his study. Nile though having realized Booker sold out the group, arrives too late to help, but she convinces Copley to assist her get into the company.

She storms Merrick's office and after that frees the rest of the immortals, with them beating their way out of there (sweet immortality lol) with Nile saving Andy from Merrick by pushing him out of a window.

Booker was later sentenced to a 100 years of loneliness for his betrayal to the team and after about 6 month later, met Quynh (Andy's first comrade) in his room.

Trust me this movie was epic and you would like to see it too. It was really nice getting to participate in this challenge, thanks @belenguerra @worldgeography, you would really enjoy it if you get to watch it too.
