An Ode to Mother Nature...

As a response to the hardworking @belenguerra's A Poem to nature, I have decided to treat you all to a beautiful Sonnet.

For those who need an explanation, a Sonnet is a fourteen line poem with a fixed rhyme scheme. I hope the following would provide both rhyme and rhythm to your reading eyes, and listening mind...

When the yellow sun, rises in the east,
She brings to us, a new dawn..
And like a mother, with child at her hips,
She unveils to us, her new born...

Oh when the little flower, spreads her wings,
And she reveals to us her petals..
We marvel, at all the beautiful things,
Of which mother nature, has blessed us...

The singing bird, the honey bee,
The earth and the water creatures..
And all of the things that ever will be,
All of mother nature's treasures...

Alas, you and I are also one,
For we rise and set, just like the yellow sun...
