NEW CONTEST!! 🎬MOVIE TIME!🌎 // NUEVO CONCURSO!! 🎬MOVIE TIME!🌎 || "Titanic" by @petervi
"Titanic" is disassembled into cliches and quotes with the same thoroughness as Gaidai's comedies. And today there is hardly a person over 30 who does not have a heartbeat as soon as he hears the first notes of Celine Dion's song My Heart Will Go On. Along with the fact that "Titanic" is a unique melodrama, it is also one of the most ambitious disaster films.
Once again, you can be convinced that Cameron is a truly brilliant director, from a seemingly simple script, he was able to make a masterpiece.
The film is the record holder for the number of American statuettes, the record holder for the longest run, it was in rotation for 281 days, almost a year. Do you know that the budget of the film, which amounted to $ 200 million, is one third higher than the cost of building the real Titanic - this is the same kind of record.
So what is the recipe for a successful and, one might even say, ideal film? The secret of magic can only be guessed at. It seems to me that the combination of several directions of cinematography in one work played an important role in this issue.
The story of life turns into a drama, and its denouement turns into a tragedy. That, in turn, unfolds against the backdrop of historical events, and the realism of the crash adds to the characterization of the disaster film.
The protagonists are true adventurers who break the rules as if making an adventure movie. They are connected by the undoubted decoration of the film - the so-called "sweet scenes" that elevate the picture to the first place among the melodramas of the world.
In contrast to this idyll, there are scenes of chases and the passage of the ship's flooded corridors. All this storm of emotions is framed by an almost biographical story of Rose's life, keeping in touch with real time.
For me, this is an amazing film, a heartbreaking story. Excellent direction, great cast. This film will not leave anyone indifferent, it cannot get bored, at least for me, for sure!
Thanks @belenguerra, @worldgeography for a wonderful contest.
Interesting movie for this contest! It's my favorite! And it talks about topics as navigation and weather. I haven't thought about its relation with Geography, but there is a lot!! Great idea and post!
