My favorite season by// @Johnson66

Greetings fellow steamians
Hope every body is fine, its very good they brought this contest so that every one can his/her feelings about seasons, in my own country Nigeria, most especially where am coming from abia state we all prefer winter season, but we we call it dry season.

Why I prefer winter season
Where i live is still not civilized and we have only two seasons, raining and dry seasons, we're still dealing with the things of the past most especially our markets, and my reasons are, in where i live we're all hustlers, we trade in our local markets, we all prefer winter season because it helps our trading with cooperation compared to the season we call raining season. Because rain always disturb our trading, and if it always disturb us that way it causes hunger for us.

The winter season is my favourite because it has a week full of festivities and we get our vacations at that time. Our school closes for a vacation of two weeks for Christmas and New Year. In the winter season, people put on warm clothes and woollens to save themselves from the severe cold. And it helps our trading trading with much profits.

Am used to winter from child hood because the woman i grew up with is not used to putting on sweaters because cold weather, so i copied that from her and its not affecting me in any way . But I always see neighbors with big sweater, am always wandering if they are comfortable with it. But but me am not comfortable with it

In my place winter is the season we chose to be celebrating our festivals, among the one i love most is the one we call izara afa, it is being celebrated by elderly people in my village but youths only participate to make it more fun and we all are enjoying it.
