Contest Announcement!!! Come Lets Talk About Our Geographical Gatherings Here by @johnkuzzy

Good day steemians of steem Geography, today i am very happy to be participating in this great contest which says promoting your Geographical green and i thank @bright-obias for organising such a wonderfull contest though it may look funny, but it is a great topic. I also thank @belenguerra and @badshal for the good work they have been doing to promote this community growth and i pray that God should guide and protect you all.

The Geographical gathering i will like to discuss was an occasion held in my area.

The reason this occasion was held was to commision a project set by the former chief of Army staff in person of Maj.Gen TY Buratai. The programme was organised to keep people busy with their selves, the project is just to empower people to learn different kind of handwork like; shoe making, photography, Bakery, computer repairs, Tailoring, Barbing saloon, Hair-dressing saloon, computer studies and make-up artist.

And the venue for this occasion was 245 Recce Battalion Afi Barracka Ikom Cross River State, Nigeria. Lots of people came to witness the commissioning and Army Generals were also they too accompanied by the Police, Imigration, Road safety and Custom officers.

The programme was namely 245 Battalion Barracks Investment Initiatives Programme (245 BBIIP) and below are some pictures of benefials.

it was renovated by our CO(Commanding Officer) in person of Bri.Gen AJS Gulani and commissioned by Maj. Gen LA Adegboye.

It was commisioned successfully and Gift (Griding engines)

were given to widows who have lost their husbands in the insurgency we are in our country nigeria (BOKO HARAM) and also #100,000 was also given to them to buy fuel to put in their engines so that they can start using it.

After the occasion there was refreshment for every one although not every one had it i was also a victim because i did not have anything as refreshment a closing prayer was said and every one went home.

in conclusion, i must say that i fell delighted to participated in this noble contest and i also Pray that God should continue to guied and protect all the members of steem geography in jesus name "AMEN".
