Why do you love it?

Because it allows you to enjoy and see the city of Mérida from the top. Also because visiting Mérida without going up the Mukumbarí cable car is something like visiting Rome without going to the Vatican or Paris without going to the Eiffel Tower.

Have you ever met this (place, person, anything you've chosen)

Yes, I have been to the cable car in Mérida twice. The first time I went with my parents and my brother, I was about 9 years old, the second time was 10 years later. I'd like to go back to the cable car.

Is this something that has a long history in your country?

The cable car was inaugurated in 1960. Through the years the Mérida cable car system has been updated, ensuring it and guaranteeing its continuity through time.

Is this in the entire country or only in some cities?

It can be found only in the city of Mérida, because of the unique place and the climate. In the city of Caracas there is a cable car but it has another infrastructure and the view from above is very different.

Most of the people love it?

I believe that many Venezuelans appreciate it very much, especially the people of Merida because it is a symbol of the identity of their city, that is why they take great care of it and value it because it has helped to get to know the city and its people around the world.

Do you know what the tourists think about it?

I think tourists love it because they want to get to know the cable car up close, because it is considered the highest in the world, so it's something unique in the world.

Can you enjoy it all year long?

I would preferably go in the first months of the year or when it is not the season, because there are not many visitors, so you can better enjoy the view.
