I cannot forget to say thank you to @badsha1, @bright-obias and @belenguerra for all of there tireless efforts to ensure that this community, always has task to do for it members. To @badsha1 thanks for the opportunity you have given us so as to talk about a geographical plant or animal of our choice. We appreciate.
I will like to share with you a picture of what we call the independent leaves also known as awolowo leaves.
it belongs to the sunflower family.

As we all know every geographical plant has it's own qualities so as differentiate it From other plants. The properties of the independent leaves are:
- flowers formed are white and are located at the extreme end of branches.
- It has soft stems and woody base.
- The plant is hairy.
- The leaves are small, with sharp edges.
- Gives off a smell not so pleasant when crushed.
Health benefits of the independent (awolowo leaves).
The independent leaves got so famous because of it's healing power and lots more which includes:
- used for its wound healing property.
- Helps in the prevention of Cervical Cancer.
- Helps Prevent Diabetes.
- Used in the treatment of ulcer.
- Helps in the reduction of Cholesterol.
This particular leaf plays a vital role in medicine, it is a great source of medicine.
