Steem Geography: Bamboo Forest, Visiting My Moms Hometown@bisayakalog
Mabuhay Mga Ka Steemian!!
I am here again to share a wonderful day I had. I finally get to visit my mothers hometown after a very long time. And I wanna share this experience we had.
During the past few months this place has been very famous all over facebook and other social media. People from a far visit this place and take instagramable photos. For the longest time I have visited my mom's hometown I have never heard of this place.
But in a short span of time this place has turned upside down because of one rider's post. A Japan feel because of the bamboo aligned in one place.
Upon entering the place you will have to pay 20 pesos entrance fee. And you will have an unlimited stay in the Bamboo forest. Since it is my mom's hometown most of the vendors and businesses around are my cousins and aunt.
My family and relatives visited the place for the first time since we haven't visited our hometown for a very long time. To be honest the place is really nice. The shade that the bamboo produces gives a fresh air, sitting and relaxing in a place were you are far from pollution and noise is very relaxing.
Some people who visited the place even rent a Japanese costume, it seems like being in a Japanese movie were you are in a woods full of bamboo.
Actually before this place became a tourist spot the bamboo were actually planted so they can use it to support their banana trees. But because of the beauty bamboo brings nobody can't be mesmerized by it.
So if you are from Cebu or anywhere in the Philippines, make this one of your itinerary.
