Hi friends, how are you all? I hope you are well

The national symbols of Bangladesh represent the history, Bangladeshi heritage, cultural lifestyle and ideology of Bangladesh. Bangladesh has a number of official national symbols, including a historical document, flag, state emblem, national anthem and memorial, which were adopted at different times after independence. Apart from these, there are some other national symbols. Such as: national bird, national animal, national flower and national tree etc.

➰National symbol of Bangladesh

  • Immediately after independence in 1971, the national symbol of Bangladesh was adopted. At the center of the national symbol of Bangladesh is a floating water lily which is the national flower of Bangladesh. The water lily is surrounded by two sheaves of rice. At the apex there are three intertwined leaves of jute and two stars on each side of the leaves for a total of four stars. The four star symbols indicate the four principles of the Constitution of Bangladesh. The cosmos and economy of Bangladesh are characterized by water, rice and jute symbols. The aquatic blossoming water lily placed on these three elements is a symbol of promise, beauty and elegance. The goals and aspirations of the nation have been expressed in the stars. Mohammad Idris, the designer of the national symbol of Bangladesh.

🔷National flag

  • The national flag of Bangladesh (also known as the red-green flag) was officially adopted on 16 January 1972. It consists of a red circle on a green field, slightly offset towards the lift, so that the flag looks centered in the flying position. The red circle symbolizes the rising sun in Bengal and the martyrs who gave their lives in the war of independence of Bangladesh.

    Flag

  • The green field of the flag symbolizes the vast fresh land of Bangladesh. The flag was designed based on the flag used during the 1971 War of Independence, with a yellow map inside the red circle. The map was deleted in 1982. The map is removed from the flag to accurately reflect the map on both sides of the flag. The national flag is used on a red and a white field, respectively, for civilian and naval flag bearers.

➰National anthem

  • The first ten lines of my Sonar Bangla song are the national anthem of Bangladesh, composed and composed by Rabindranath Tagore. The national anthem of Bangladesh was adopted on 12 January 1972. This song was composed in the context of the Partition of Bengal movement in 1905. The song was composed by Gagan Harkara, a Baul singer from Shilaidaha.

  • Sarala Devi Chowdhurani had earlier published the notation of the song composed by Gagan Harkara in her collection of hundred songs in the month of Baishakh 1308 BS. The melody of many of Swadeshi songs of Rabindranath's Partition of Bengal was taken from this notation, of which it was one. The song was printed in Sanjivani on 6 September 1905 (22 Bhadra 1312 BS) under Rabindranath's signature. The song was also printed in the Ashwin issue of Bangadarshan in the same year. The first instrument of the song was composed by Samar Das and translated into English by Syed Ali Ahsan.
