A year ago, we rescued a Husky puppy from being put to sleep. He grew up into an incredible beauty with an unusual personality.

Snow was lucky; he was taken from the clinic immediately, telling the unfortunate owners that their sentence had been carried out... It's heartbreaking to know that even purebred dogs, when they fall into the wrong hands, can sometimes end up in clinics facing euthanasia. Unfortunately, even though it's illegal to euthanize a healthy animal, in small towns, this rule is often ignored, knowing that the animal will be simply abandoned outside the clinic or left on the streets.

I'm glad Snow found caring people who saved him from such a fate. It's essential to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and the consequences of abandoning or mistreating animals. Snow's story is a reminder of the importance of providing love and care to all pets, regardless of their breed or background.

They brought him to the clinic when he was just a tiny baby, around 2 months old. The reason for euthanasia was worms, and they had no intention of treating the puppy.

It sounds like you made the right decision by finding Snowball a loving family that could give him the attention he needed. Having a second dog in the family can indeed be much more enriching than having numerous pets.

It's heartwarming to hear that Snowball found a caring companion in Sherry, the young Rottweiler, who took the little puppy under her wing and never left him alone. This duo brought many smiles and gray hairs to their owners - your friends.

Trusting rehomed dogs to acquaintances when possible is a wonderful way to keep an eye on their well-being and provide immediate help if needed. This way, you can stay connected to their lives and ensure they have a safe and happy home.

Snow was growing up as such a funny and unusual "little bespectacled" pup, and it was intriguing to see what he would become as an adult dog since his parents couldn't be found (no tags or microchip).

It's incredible to see how Snow has transformed into a fully grown Husky, so majestic, handsome, and healthy, with such a beautiful and lush coat. It's almost unbelievable to witness the remarkable change, and we can't help but admire him in awe!

The markings on his face are still there, by the way! Not as vibrant as in puppyhood, but they remain. And Snowball has an unusual personality, not typical of a Husky. Perhaps it's because he grew up with a Rottweiler?

Calm, composed, thoughtful, and with an ironclad temperament - Snowball's demeanor at first glance makes you wonder if he is really a Husky! Even the veterinarian at the clinic, who examined him, was surprised by his non-typical behavior for the breed.

Let's give a handshake to Snow's owners, who saved and raised this wonderful dog! And you would never tell that he was a dirty and tormented little puppy with a bloated belly from parasites... You never know how your life will change when you take in a troubled dog. Recently, the owners of Snow welcomed their long-awaited second daughter, and having two big dogs in the house doesn't bother anyone. This goes to show that the most common reason for abandoning dogs - the birth of children - shouldn't be an obstacle.

Let's wish this lucky one many happy "Husky" years, and to his owners - immense happiness! Goodness comes back with goodness.
